I personally think we should save our £6.8 million fee for siggs and let brendan have him if he wants him and let laudrup bring in his own players. I dont think siggs is worth the money anyway as he never did that much the last 4 or 5 games that warrants such a fee. he was out marked and made little impact. we dont need him now laudrup is the boss....
Now Dai has officially confirmed it we can all actually celebrate. I wasn't happy to celebrate until I heard from Dai and his "inside information".
Every need, I'm afraid. Every need. Let's see some praise for Jenkins from you. Even sources outside the Club are claiming it's an achievement of the Chairman to land him. What do you have to say? I'm genuinely interested for once. Don't tell me: "Board overruled Jinx who wanted Jones"
get on the phone and find out who he's bringing with him gendrosjack ! Hopefully his family to settle here when he does well MAYBE WE CAN KEEP A MANAGER FOR A WHILE LONGER THIS TIME ?
Funny you should ask Gendros , Laudrup quit his last gig because his assistant manager got fired ... wonder if he'll bring the old fired assistant with him ?
Very well done swansea, very astute appointment. you can now concentrate on building for next season, which is looking like it's going to be a cracker! big season for both us and norwich, financially with the new sky deal announced. good luck, except in the obvious 2 games
Swan it doesnt matter how long they stay as long as they add something and move us forward, embrace change! (especially if it brings £7mil).
What a step forward!!!!! This is a statement to those in the Prem that we are to stay, play, and be a presence.
I know Laudrup is no fergy yet but I hope Huws phone is now ringing off the hook from loads of top players agents realising swansea city fc is the real deal and a very foreward thinking club on the up, many will want to be part of the amazing still evolving story of the super swans !
I haven't checked it out, but apparently Martin Laursen (ex AVFC defender) walked out of his job 2 days ago "to go onto bigger and better things". PL experience, defensive minded... perfect foil for Laudrup?
