    Isn't it spelt bellendary?

I'll ask Tickler, he'll probably give a full explanation of what it means too...

I am surprised that Reading want Koren actually when they can have Akos Buszaky from DQPR for nowt and he is proven at PL level. Surprised that DQPR are letting him go actually.

Maybe because Buszaky has been released by a club that was barely able to stay up therefore deemed not good enough for a team they want to finish above, so they see Koren as a better player and since they have money to burn with this new owner would rather get a player they think is better for a cheapish price as he's in the last year of his contract.

Well if he goes, feel free to pick up Andy King from us... no wait, we're not going to sell any of our players to you <nahnah>

I'd pay 750k loan fee to have him for the season so bollocks to selling him for that. Stick an extra 0 on the end and we can start negotiating. Just because he's getting in and olayed in te championship recently doesn't mean he's worth peanuts. 750k is just criminal.

He's arguably our best player, scores from midfield & if we should refuse offers & in that way put down a marker that we're not a selling club.

£750k isn't even a starting point for me. Our second top scorer last season, who can make a goal from nothing... Whether he's out of contract or not... You have to calculate what he would be worth to the team.

There is no way we could replace his goals for that price.

£1m is probably fair on the face of it, but in terms of what he's worth to our team, he's priceless.

But a player can only be judged on what he's worth to the team he's in. Free wasn't fair when we got him off West Brom - he was worth a hell of a lot more then, but not to the team he was in. If Reading want him, they have to pay enough to destabilise our promotion campaign. Which is a hell of a lot more than 1m.

I don't really know what your argument is there Bernstein, that's basically the exact point I was making.

Sorry J-D, I'd been on the falling down water last night, and possibly hadn't read your post sufficiently.

Let's just say we agree! :)

Anything over 1.5 let him go. Use the fee to bring in Boyd and sign Giles Barnes on a free.
