I don't know about anyone else but with our first trip to Watford tomorrow since the play off semi final and all this lovely spring weather i'm thinking back to that sunny May afternoon 3 years ago. Deano and Barmby scoring those goals, Myhill's best game in a city shirt and that feeling of us having one foot in the play off final as we left Vicarage Road that afternoon. It was a fantastic afternoon and hopefully we can get a similar result tomorrow <ok>

It was a great 2 weeks, i rate the two play off games as highly as Wembley if i'm honest. Obviously we wouldn't have had Wembley without winning the 2 games, but the game at Watford and the journey home followed by that night at the KC 3 days later and the happiness and excitement it gave everyone pre-Wembley are memories that will stay with me forever.

That Danny ****tu goal 3 minutes in (at our end), disallowed for a foul. Absolutely nothing wrong with it! Great day, remember it being glorious sunshine and swelteringly hot. Set us on our way to Wembley...

It was a great day and there was nothing wrong with ****tu's goal, but as we won 6-1 on aggregate, so I think we're in the clear.

the team we had out that day would beat our current 11, easily imo..

They'd run our midfield ragged that's for sure if recent displays are anything to go by. Would be interested to see how Gerrard and Chester would cope against Fraizer and Deano.

attacking mentality as well, cant imagaine the current team racing into a 2 goal lead inside 20 minutes, in fact id be happy if we manged 2 shots on goal all game tomorrow ;)

    Garcia Ashbee Hughes Barmby

    VS

    Koren Harper Evans Stewart

Not sure myself. Stick Ash in for Harper, I think you've got the best 4

ill get shot down for this, but as a right winger id take garcia all day long..especially in that season, he was in good form...
i think the current teams strength is obviously defence, but in turner and myhill back then we had 2 individuals better then anybody currently imo..and campbell and deano is also streets ahead of fryatt and mclean..again only in my opinion,,
love to see a virtual match, like in rocky 6 <laugh>......2-0 win for the 07-08 team, no doubht..;)

Wasn't the playoff game but the last time I was at Watford was the first time I'd heard us doing the left side/right side thing, and us on the right side seemed to win that one with "We've got Ian Ashbee" (sat in the stand with us).

the '08 team would win, they went for it more then NP's team..

However if you can add injured Stewart, it might be a draw..

Harper v Marney, the horror! Nobody mentions Pederson but he was as good as anything we have on the wings now. Not sure about the likes of Bryan Hughes but we went up with him playing, I'd go for a draw too as if we had started the season with the team we ended it with we would have made the play-offs, and 2008 was a ready made team.

Thats what it looks like after a hurricaine comes through, thats debris from Katrina. Looks a bit better now but for some reason them folks up in Washington DC do'nt really care about Louisiana.
If it was an earthquake that hit California then it would be completely rebuilt in 6 months but parts of New Orleans are still are in ruin 5 years later.
Hell they put more money and effort into rebuilding Bhagdad then they did New Orleans!
For some reason Louisiana is the red headed step child of the United States but I love the place reminds me of home, Westminster never did much for Hull either
