    gillslad69 - not sure if you're taking the p !
The sequence in the youtube clip does nothing to show the subject matter of the film - it was quite gruesome when it was made ( 1972 ) - get it downloaded or on dvd - you'll enjoy it.

i know the cats out of the bag, but sorry i haven't seen it this film...shame ! <whistle>

i did forget to say that i do remember back all those years ago, to that particular trip when on that hiking trips to scotland, one mark0000 did for half that day disappear. all i can say is when he came back, we had to cut short the trip because he was all of a sudden...walking very funny, like one john wayne ....make of that what you will ?

so now i suggest you ALWAYS or even BSG <hug> accommodate him next time and experience it for yourselves....SORRY IT WASN'T MY CUP OF TEA !!! <yikes>

I'm not taking the p it does look decent! Although I'm sad that I haven't seen it yet. I've been flicking back through my King films recently with Cujo, It and Pet Cemetery being my weeks watch. Can't deal with Misery right now though : /

There seems to be a whole lot of lovin' going on in this thread now ahaha!

I personally do not have a problem with gay people - but I will pass on the invite - especially as I am considering ' coming out ' - and by this I mean that I feel a need to admit that I have a personality that my username does not reveal. I may have to confess that, actually my username should be alwaysrighteous

You're too late - joker ( now Bespoke ) accused me of that ages ago

you should see me what the General Chat mod calls me - It's got 4 letters, one is a vowel and it starts with C and ends with T ( I don't mean clot )

We aren't in the Euro so technically we didn't contribute to the Greek bail out fund...

I think we may have veered off topic

we still have to contribute BSG because of import and export, and what we contribute is more than most of those in the euro <grr>

like you say though...back to the subject

I saw an article stating that Peterboro' have actually had an undisclosed fee for the Torquay 'keeper agreed. Surely Gazza would be better off playing regular first team football than warming the bench at 'Boro?

i'd guess there trying to get the best deal by putting in offers first and will then compare ?

i know it's a decent amount for a club of our present stacture but i'd rather we kept gazza and got him to sign a new deal...get us up the ladder, along with himself and build his price up some more !

Well since 'Boro have sold both of last seasons keepers they are in the market for two more... I also hear they have been sniffing about Oldham's shot stopper too. Considering both Torquay's and Oldham's are more established so I would assume they would take the No. 1 jersey and Paulo will be back up

I agree about being back up. Which is why the sensible thing would be for him to sign a 3 year contract extension with us, get a full season (or 2) in goal and then be sold for a tidy amount when he has a bit more first team/match day experience ;) just look at what happened to Jason Brown! 5 years of filling his bank account I mean bench warming.

Paulo is going no where for 400k and if he does I can assure you this is one supporter where all hell and fury will kick off.

Maybe Manchester United want him? Sir Alex says to his son ''you buy him for £400k, have him for 2 years, we sign him for £2m, give Gillingham 25% of the profit, everyone's happy'':grin::grin::grin::grin:

What I do not understand, how is Nick Powell worth £4M and yet rumours can insult us with a 400k bid for Gazza? Now out of the two price tags, Gazza's may well be the more realistic but in that realism any club can get stuffed for a 400k bid. Surely a good goalkeeper is harder to find at a higher level?

Nick Powell was at Crewe from the age of 5, so they have been responsible for all his development, so considering he has played for England since under 15 level up to under 18's so far, then I dont think £4m is that unreasonable!
