So, Denmark 2 Portugal 3. If the Dutch beat the Germans tonight this group will be very tasty going into the last two games!

Was a great game. Denmark have been unfairly underrated in the two games they played I feel. It's that old thing of attacking football supposedly being better than defensive football. But the 'group of death has looked good desire the boring game between Germany and Portugal.

Don't like the fact that van Persie is being played ahead of Huntelaar. So similar to the Holt hashtag I'm starting the hashtag #hunterlaarwouldhavescoredthat

They look like they could play all day against Germany and still not score

One up front when you need a result is odd

Did Van Persie just score with his right foot?

    Poll

    Are Spain playing brilliant

Or are Ireland poor and making them look brilliant

I'd say a bit of both tonight

Spain are good, but I think they rely too much on their flamboyance and "ticky tacky" play. Germany are the Norwich of Europe, flexible and determined.

    Germany will win it.

One Jeremy Goss goal in Munich back in The Dawn of Time and you think you've got a European pedigree...

The highlighted comment in bold implies that Ipswich's European exploits were before time began then?
