Surely Given must be the most spectacular disappointment of Euro 2012.Both games he's not lasted four minutes and the goal by Torres should have been dealt with.
Don't judge based on a major international tournament. Given is a good 'keeper. He's just been let down by poor defenders who have had to face good attackers.
Would never say never, but Ruddy is one of those few players who I think will want to stay close to his roots. As long as he is first choice at NCFC, I think he'll be ours. I remember him saying when he signed for us, that he and his agent had pestered Lambert to sign him, so that he and his young family could come back home. I know it's rare and getting rarer that a player wants to stay with a club, whatever, but of all our current first team, my money would be on Ruddy.
