That he'd ruin our club? I read many times from Spurs and from other fans that Harry ruins the clubs that he manages. At least he won't be able to do that now but I was a bit concerned.

All the time Daniel Levy is there there was little chance he would ruin the club. If the club was sold, who knows?

Don't be pathetic thor,i never once thought "arry could ruin us", not once, why would any fan think this?....just because a lot of bitter fans from his ex clubs blame him for their financial ruin? he doesn't sign the cheques or have the final say, thats the money men.

You've answered your own question Boss, many fans from his ex clubs blamed him for wild spending and ruining them. I'm sorry that you consider it pathetic but I saw a lot of Spurs concern too.
Deedub,I too saw Levy as shrewd and a hard nut to crack but had Harry gained CL I was concerned Levy might relent and concede to his demands.

mate the reason its pathetic is because them fans are pathetic, small clubs with bitter fans, any manager can "ruin" a club if a chairman allows them too but I doubt arry even knew what damage was possibly being done as he is a football man that would have just wanted to improve the squad.

I haven't seen any Spurs fans suggesting Harry might have ruined the club. Whatever, it was Peter Storrie who was signing the cheques at Portsmouth, not Harry Redknapp. Not sure how Harry can possibly be blamed for the problems which occurred at Bournemouth and Southampton, as they all happened long after he'd left.

As has been said, no chance. Those who claim Harry would ruin the club don't know their arse from their elbow. Levy is way too smart for Harry boy.

He was blamed for starting the rot though Original. I wouldn't have started this thread if I hadn't seen many posts saying Harry ruins his clubs financially.

I agree with what others have said, Levy is far too cute financially to have allowed Harry to 'start any rot' at Tottenham.

This is a non starter TMT. The chairman is responsible for the money not the manager. This particular accusation against Harry has no foundation in reality.

Maybe I misread and was worrying about nothing. Can I lock the thread or do the mods have to do that?
