Has 2 years left of his contract with Everton. I would have thought Cahill would see it out and then move on. That triangle merri-go-round is almost complete then if this deal is confirmed. Green to DQPR, Jaaskaleinen from Bolton(free) to West Ham and Paddy Kenny waits on Colin up north. Spammers are also after a french player. A defender who can play either CB or FB but whos name escapes me. What battle ? 3 independant parties have all been told this and Burnsy confirmed as much on his radio show weeks ago. Unless Bruce goes back for him i guess it will be the one that got away. Shame as he would be my No.1 choice for the left flank/wing. Wish i was. I know what i am told and believe 99% when its official. No reason to doubt the people who told me. Ive been told other info but some of it is so silly its not worth repeating. Heskey and King are done deals apparantly and is all i will say for now. From 2 seperate sources. TWT as always.
Seriously, Heskey has permantly signed, I still hope we have a crack at Wickham, after all apparently Ehab said we're selling McLean and getting two strikers.
I got a call on saturday saying Yes a 2 year deal but until its official i said nothing. But what the hell. If its done its done. He also said that Josh King was a done deal. Then yesterday i got a text from a totally unrelated mate who said the same thing. This source was the one who mentioned Steve Bruce had been seen at AllamMarine(i must remind him to read body language better in future though, lol) so make of it what you will. I hope McLean stays. Every team needs a work horse like that. My hope is that Jay Simpson is moved on and Adebola has gone anyway. So we still need 2 new strikers regardless. +++++++++++ Back to this thread now. Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers wants Chelsea player Salamon Kalou who is released on a free transfer.
So how much did we bid for Snodgrass Tickler? They rejected 3.5M from a PL club, so Snodgrass knowing he has PL clubs wanting him comes to a club who can no doubt offer him less wages and just as much chance to get in the PL, and are going to bid 4M, on a playe rin January when AP and NB said we would have to play it clever. Do you really believe the rubbish you spout?
Yes he did but that was when Nick Barmby was manager. I dont get this attitude towards McLean ffs. He would most certainly be kept on at Hull City imo. Wickham would be a good loan but again i ask this question, Dont Ipswich Town have a clause of first refusal on his services ? Steve Bruce for certain will know that situation. Look you should look much closer to home when it comes to spouting rubbish. You believe what you want to I care less. Snodgrass enters his final year and whatever was bid last summer no longer applies. Even you should be able to understand that. Burnsy for one would not have gone public if he was not sure of his ground. I would suggest that TWS will be lucky to get £1.5m for Snodgrass now. It no longer matters anyway as its June not January 2012. What happens happens. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Chinese Club Guizhou Renhe have joined the chase for Evertons Tim Cahill who has 2 years left on his contract there. Saudi Arabian clubs Al Hilal and AlNasr are already battling for his services. Newcastle scout Graham Carr looking over France full back Mathleu Debuchy in mondays game. West Ham have entered to fray in the battle to sign up Wolverhamptons Matt Jarvis with rival PL clubs Liverpool and Sunderland also interested, Kyle Naughton looks like following Paul Lambert out of Norwich to Aston Villa. Wigan looking at Greece winger Dimitris Salpingidis in yesterdays game with the Czechs.
Debuchy looked good against us the other day, he's best mates with Cabaye I believe so Newcastle may get lucky and get him even though bigger clubs are after him. Their full backs positions are probably one of their weaknesses as well so if they get in a couple of players of his quality i'd expect Newcastle to have another decent season, unless the Europa Cup tires them out.
Did he go public? Can you find me this piece of vital information? I give up with you, next time you hear anything in the car park let me know! On topic Debucy would be a great signing, him and Santon as full backs would be class.
Mclean is simply not up to playing at this level, nice bloke, but he's a League One player. And why would Ipswich have any clause in the Wickham sale, they got a bloody fortune for him? You and your final year of their contract nonsense, you said Maynard wouldn't generate a fee anywhere near £1m after reaching his final year. He went for £2m. Did I mention that we were never in for Snodgrass? We never bid, we never discussed him, he was never a target, there was no Snodgrass deal.
Exactly, why would Snodgrass leave Leeds for Hull when premiership clubs have been sniffing round him
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce to go back to his old club Blackburn Rovers and pay the £1m to get Yakubu. DQPR manager Mark Hughes to go after free agent Andy Johnson from Fulham. Aston Villa new manager Paul Lambert wants Chris Gunter from Nottingham Forest. But for £2.5m ? Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich wants Newcastle star Ben Arfa.
Just heard from next door neighbours dog that Leicester are close to signing Hull City centerback James Chester on a 4 year deal, the fee is rumoured to be around £2,000,000 with addons potentially rising it to £3,000,000 and a lifetime supply of chicken korma and pilau rice.
It's true, the dog is in the know as the original deal was £3 million and a Thai jungle curry with jasmine rice, the dog was going to be the meat. Steve Bruce said he prefers indian food and the lifetime supply swung the deal.
