Redknapp rang Huw and offered his services to the club last night

True story. 100% cast iron, same source I get a lot of my gossip from. Came via a senior figure at the club. Huw said no ta, as Laudrup is apparently a done deal.

    Wowzers.

Hope we've got Laudrup and that the saga is now over. Unlike some, I have a lot of time for 'Arry and wouldn't mind him at all if a last minute hitch occurs. Like the sound of Zola as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Laudrup performs so I hope all this betting activity means nothing.

If this is true then it shows how far we've come that a "massive name" manager wants to manage us. I think 'Arry is a great manager but having lived in Portsmouth I've seen a lot of the fall out from what 'Arry caused during his time there. Best of luck to him but Laudrup is the one I want.

dont rate harry as a top boss anyway, laudrup is virtually a done deal what iv been told today, so expect an imminent announcement very soon..I'm very happy with that and perhaps now we can get down to sorting the squad out for next season, I wonder who he will have as his no2.......no harry you cant be laudrups right hand man now go and play with rosie...<laugh>

I heard that Sir Alex had been in touch as well, but Huw told him he was too old. But it does seem that we are now one of the big clubs that good managers want to come and work at. Should make it easier to attract good players as well.

If true, would have taken Harry in an instant if Laudrup was not in negotiation. He has done a remarkable job at every club he's been involved with. Laudrup still top choice - and remarkable that we are able to land this calibre of individual.

Too much controversy surrounding Harry, and I personally wouldn't want him associated with Swansea City F.C.

We don`t want Redknapp, Rosie`s the one with all the money, let`s grab her.

YJ: "He has done a remarkable job at every club he's been involved with."

Can't really disagree but he did leave Pompey in financial tatters. That doesn't sit well with me and probably won't with our Board.
