Posted on: Wed 13 Jun 2012

City have been seeded in tomorrow's Capital One Cup first round draw.

The draw - to be made behind-closed-doors at Football League HQ at 9.30am tomorrow (Thursday) - has been split into north and south, seeded and unseeded categories.

Its about time we had a bit of a cup run, as we've been very poor over the past few years. The FA Cup is still the best but that's 6 months away and I'd settle for a couple of wins in this competition

The league cup should give some first team games to the fringe players to see if they are there or there about to be first team players.
