http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2810782,00.html Great to see! Very happy with his full time appointment
Great news indeed! Lets hope he had a say in the new signings also, nothing wrong with a bit of optimism!
Glad to see the board come out and say that he's had input into our recent signings too! Though in all fairness saying he didn't want them counts as input
A well earned reward for delivering the biggest prize in football! I would have been traumatised if he hadn't got it ! Yee Hah! Lets go for the quadruple now Robbie!

Carnt weight ter get me leg over sum of them Kings Rode dollies, oi oi !!!!!!
Very good news to wake up to !! A very sensible decision , and we are actually building on last years work, not starting from scratch again. Let's get this Hulky bloke done and dusted, and get cracking.
I know I'm probably in danger of getting a reputation as miserable, glass half full type bugger, but I just can't get that excited by this news. It's nothing to do with Robbie - he deserves the job and I'd really love to see him here long term, getting the opportunity to build his own squad and develop some of our academy players into first team regulars, but I just don't see it happening. His appointment has all the hallmarks of a short term fix while Roman waits for Guardiola or the next shiny, pretty thing that grabs his attention to agree to take over. I just don't believe that, after all the madness that has gone before, Roman and his merry men (Buck, Tenenbaum, Gourlay) have suddenly learned the error of their ways and become converts to long term planning and sensible strategy. Remember how Carlo was supposed to be the man Roman had always wanted after Jose was sacked? We waited 2 long years while stop gaps like Avram/Ten Cate were put in charge, then the Scolari experiment was swiftly abandoned, then a successful caretaker was found, before finally Roman got his man. His man delivered our first ever double in his first season in charge and what happened? Roman snapped the wheels off the bus, sacked his coach, undermined him, and sacked him just one year later. So now, Guardiola is apparently the one Roman really wants. Robbie is the stop gap and will doubtless be cast aside with our usual decorum and dignity the moment Pep is ready to come out of semi-retirement. And then the whole cycle begins again! Dammit, I try to be optimistic and look on the bright side, I really do, but I think deep down we all know the way this is going to end.
To be honest with you Ollie you aint wrong, much as I am really happy for Robbie and think he deserves it,why did they wait 4 weeks to make the appointment we all wanted....
