damn it is a bit of a fall from grace though isnt it...from next England manager to jobless.

that is not funny!

He should have been allowed another year and i really can't see how this is a positive move, especially as only in February he was seen as the best manager in the country. now clearly he wasn't but the jump from being on such a high to getting the sack is pretty severe.

I don't like how each time there is a chance for stability we look for "something new" and them famous words "take us to the next level" as who is out there? there really isn't much to improve and whoever comes in will want to build his own team and its going to mean taking a backwards step.

I agree with that but I'm mindful that we don't know what has gone on at the moment. I don't think Levy would've sacked him based on what we know about the situation, if he has it's a very bad call.

100% agree with this

What are you on about? Levy is the one that will deal with any "fight to retain players" and Moyes loses a player or two that he wants to keep in most transfer windows so why would that concern him? The Liverpool job seems like a far more difficult job since you're packed to the rafters with average players that you can't sell and have little money yet expect to improve year on year. Rodgers even turned you down first time too.

Our players don't want OUT like yours!

<doh>

That's because no one wants them, fool!

Remember when you tried to loan donkey Carroll back to the Toon, and they said no? Surely, that must tell even you deluded Mousers something?

Good point. Maybe Levy got a note from 'Arry's doc telling him he's got to pack it in.

There's a lot more to it than that, I'd speculate after such support shown by Levy to Harry after his 'events', the timing of his latest outburst was about as appalling as it could get. A camels back broke perhaps. Imo, it wasn't just the content and timing of that ill conceived media stunt, it was his attitude during it, not caring too much oneway or the other, some might say a bit arrogant, no rally cry for next season. Its an epic fail the more I think about it.

Enjoy your ride back down the table where you belong fool.

Modric - byebye
Bale - byebye
van der Vaart -byebye

Adebayor - City will probably use him as a make-weight in one of their transactions.

Nah mate grow up you're a little club with a little ground that got above itself for a short period.

when was the last time so many players left just because a manager has left?

little club, little ground but still alot better than your bag of ****e...does that not bother you?

plastic <ok>

£40 million for Moddy + £60 million for Bale + £15 million for VDV = £115,000,000.

That would sweeten the "loss" of those players, don't you think?

Ah, no. You don't think. You're a Mouser.

And you can bet your bottom dollar that Levy won't spend a penny of that booty on the donkeys that Kenny-boy has saddled you with <ok>

My head has been telling me Jose since he was spotted in London buying a "family home".
Yes I know he just signed a new contract but he spent most of last season fed up and I could really see him making a bold lifestyle change.
Also when Chelsea sacked him we were on the hunt for a new manager but his settlement prevented him from being able to manage another English club for a set period. This was set with us in mind.

Have you ever thought of trying to engage what passes for your brain before you make idiotic comments?

It's hardly likely Levy will spend this money . Over the last couple of years he has spent nothing in the real terms.
Fat boy Lewis only releases the dosh if Spurs are in trouble as when Droopy arrived.
We need a positive manager with the club having a competitive wage structure, Proper transfer fund but I
can only dream of better things

What's interesting is that you're being linked to Moyes + the same managers we were derided for being linked to.

Perhaps it's just lazy journalism.

I don't think all your players will leave, of course, but it could spell the end for Modric and the Vertonghen deal (at least temporarily).

VDV to Schalke rumours already do seem to have teeth.

Gotta Say I think this is a big blow to the your club, Love him or hate him, Harry knows his stuff and when Parker joined you from us i honestly thought you would be right up there at the top.
I do think it could be a tough season now especially if the players are not totally behind the new man, i also expect to see one or two go, Modric and maybe even Bale which would be a disaster for Tottenham.
Anyway looking forward to resuming battle this season, i just hope that moron Levy sorts it out !

Oi - why did you delete my post ?? I wasn't being abusive. Plus I have banter with your chaps. So you can give it but not take it ??

Pretty poor form chaps, you might be the enemy but surely there is nothing wrong with banter. Pathetic, honestly, I'm disappointed in you.

You'll be lucky to get above £25M for Modric this summer, Bale is worth nothing even approaching £60M. Try £20-30M. Still substantial but nothing like your figure.
