I know the majority here will slate him but I would love to hear "why" you think MH is going to sign him. Personally I can't understand this one at all. Is he seen as a direct replacement for Cisse when he is not available?
Strength in depth? He is another striker who cant score. Exactly our problem for the past god knows how many years. We can, and have to do better than him. Terrible terrible record at PL level - I posted it a week or so ago. Terrible.
Maybe we could also sign Dempsey and Dembele to keep Zamora company? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18037643
If this does mean the end of the road for Dudley J Campbell at QPR, then I feel he's been hard done by. Never got given a fair go IMHO. Like others here I'm not too convinced about AJ either. Might prove a useful squad member though.
evening northolt, i to believe he be a good addition to the squad quick eye for the goal ok not prolific but useful.
I just don't see where he'll fit in. He's a similar player to Cisse, it's just Cisse is streets ahead of Johnson
Evening Jeff, if he's replacing DJ, it's an improvement. Sparky has worked with him before so must rate him, and him Zamora have an understanding.
Not impressed by this one at all. Cant see why we wouldnt take a chance on a youngster instead of him... Offers experience i supose but not exactly prolific..except against us ! Strange signing!
Think if this is true we should give him a chance. Was not long ago people were moaning about Derry and Hill and Look what happened there? Whoever MH brings in we need to trust his judgement as we are not the Pro's. He may just want him as back up or part of another formation.
Sky Sports understands that Queens Park Rangers are poised to sign Andrew Johnson on a free transfer. Johnson is looking to sort out his future after his contract with Fulham expired and a number of clubs have been linked with a summer swoop. Reading and West Ham are both believed to have been keeping tabs on the striker's progress, while his agent indicated earlier this month that a move to the UAE might be an option. But it is thought that QPR are in pole position to land Johnson and could be set to recruit the 31-year-old in the near future. QPR are looking to bolster their squad ahead of the new season after narrowly avoiding relegation from the Premier League at the end of last term. Johnson has been identified as a target and he would bring a wealth of top-flight experience, having played for Crystal Palace and Everton after starting his professional career with Birmingham. He has been at Fulham since 2008 and has also been capped by England at international level.
