yeah quite interesting, thinks it sad how people can turn down something as lovely as bacon just because its the same colours as Sunderland.

 

The problem we have is, this would be a huge story were it to be Man City v Man Utd and everyone would know of it, there would be stories on SSN before every derby about it. However, since neither of us are up there in the league, it is just seen as another derby, and the two teams are only classed as rivals by outsiders because of our close location.

 

going Back to my own board, hope you all learned something, as I do twice a year, will try faithfully, to publish this on OUR cup final days, the derbys, and if theres a god above, a real fa cup final, nearly 63 , for **** sake give me the ultimate, dont want a scouse team, porridgegobblin managed team, we all know
who and where we want the action, what a piss up, few broken dreams and jaws Im sure, what a train ride home that would be for the flatties, and could London deal with us, am sure the publicans might mak a couple of shillins anyway, ta for your time hope you enjoyed and learned.

They'd run separate trains, think their doing that for the Manchester Derby next week.

 

Good post, alot of people on here are probably already aware of that but it's a message about an important and relevant history that maybe a lot of younger folk would do well to take notice of.

I just posted this on another thread but it's totally relevant...
