except Geronimo has to improve his passing. Ramsey has gone backwards - he needs to improve a lot, Diaby - who??? Coq is only starting out - needs a lot of experience yet. Wilshere might not come back strong, and Song can be good, and can also be hmmm! So its nothing like as strong as you present.
His dad seemed pretty convinced - thats enough for me. Add to that the fact his "moms" doesn't want him to leave, would you go against the wishes of mama and papa ?
This is a great signing if true. In terms of formation, if RVP stays (though not sure) I'm guessing they could keep the front 3 and simply have them interchanging throughout the game? Would certainly throw off man markers and create some freedom for them. But, like someone posted earlier, I can't really see Wenger bailing on Walcott, Chambo and Gervinho so quickly when wingers have been a main part of the way we play for the past few years.
If we get Giroud and get RVP to stay, i would definately try RVP on the right and Giroud in the center. Not sure how Giroud would play on the right, so i would keep him central. I rather we play Walcott on the right and if we bring Giroud on, move RVP to the right and Giroud in the Center. His size and skills should bring Pod and RVP into the game. His 16 assists this season means he is very adept to this.
Chamkah is not a bad player I just never understood the transfer. He's hardworking, great in the air, he just cant score goals!.. and he never has been able to. Have no idea why we signed him.
I really don't want Giroud. Honestly, i'd rather have Chamakh, at least he isn't costing 13 million that could go towards getting a CAM, the one thing we really do need.
I think the dad knows more than the BBC - who got their story from a newspaper - who incidentally wrote that the manager of the club claimed there are "negotiations" Not when you are 28, with a young family who are settled in London and who don't want to leave
I actually like the idea of dropping RVP deeper so he can finally play his preferred role as second striker. This would solve the creativity issues in the center of the park and would give us a happier captain, as he has always wanted to play there. Podolski---Giroud---Walcott ------------RVP----------- ------Arteta---M'Vila------ Gibbs--Verm--Kosc---Debuchy ---------Szczesny------------ If we start the season with this team I will be in dreamland (Sagna is injured for the start, before anybody even begins to think that I don't rate him hugely)
Exactly - we wouldn't need an AM if RVP played between the midfield and forwards - and with Giroud - at least we'd have someone on the end of crosses. I am liking the sound of this more and more. Add M'Villa or Capoue - thats a damned fine team right there.
your just crying because i pointed out that you took liberties in abusing other posters when you had no right to..and had no problem mentioning your name. like i said it might be your board but it does not always mean your right. and i was not wumming...its a possibility what i said. and once again you started with the abuse on here i see..you bellend
Podolski is very good as a CAM or Second striker. it would give us good options. ...also Giraud is miles better than Chamakh. Adebayor would be a fairer comparison.
Dropping Van Persie back to play behind Giroud essential makes him better than any CAM we could hope for.
If you could name a single incident where the BBC has reported something like this and its turned out not to be true, you'd be talking something other than testicles. The Beeb has good things and bad things. One good thing is that they don't freely present rumours as fact like the Daily Mail or other newspapers. When they put something up on their front page, you know they must have some pretty damn solid reason to. More than, say, some random comment by somebody's dad backed up by lots of speculation.
Lads, 3 left footed forwards?? I don't buy it personally, that would be lopsided as ****. If Van Persie was staying, thy'd have announced it pre tournament, why hold off for that?? I'm off back to the Sunderland board now... (Giroud is ****ing brilliant, BTW)
