Total and utter respect for Enrique, even if he leaves.

  1. I'm reading an article here, and there's an interview with Shane Ferguson on Jose Enrique.

Shane has said that Jose has took the young lad under his wing, and has been a mentor to the lad since he has shown potential. He says Enrique plays a role in the team, whether he's fit and playing or not. Shane looks up to Enrique, and if Shane does become a success, we know who we should all pay respect to besides the lad himself.

I just hope Jose stays, but if he does leave i'm sure it will be for a champions league team or a team that he'll win trophies with. He has ambition, and we cannot argue with that.

A part of Jose will never leave St James' Park, as it will forever shine through Shane Ferguson.

I read the interview in the chronicle, but it's on this website also -

Lots of players do this to help younger players at the club, its part of their job.

Just pointing it out, it is good that they do it though, as it shows they can about the development of players playing at the same football club as them. To be fair Enrique, Coloccini and others could have left us after getting relegated but have stayed and proved their worth, so fair play to them for that.

I hope he stays but if he leaves to join one of the trophy winning English / Spanish / Italian clubs I'd always give him a good reception.
