Not sure who to hate more out of Russia and Poland. Got odds of 9/1 for the Czech/Russia double so lumped my winnings from Spain/Italy on the two games.

I guess I'm going to have to pay for a new MacBook the old fashioned way. Anyone know any falling off the back of a lorry <laugh>

Portugal will blitz Denmark 3-0 or 3-1. Ronaldo with a brace.

Germany to strangle the life out of Holland in a 1-0 or 2-1 win. Muller to open his account tonight.

The Dutch are going out. And Portugal will pip the Danes to second place on Sunday.

Said the exact same thing this morning, with exception to Germany who I think will win 2-0.

So, if France lose to Ukraine and England beat Sweden, then we could have a situation of both Holland and France being knocked out at first hurdle - wishful thinking eh ?!

Probably get some good odds on that if you did it right now.

If Ukraine beat France and we beat Sweden, a draw in our last match will see us through.

Nope. Think it will be a bit of a hiding too. 3-0 or 4-1.

Fun fact: They got a German to referee the Russia/Poland game.

I guess that's one way to get neutrality, pick a ref with a nationality that dislikes both teams.

What was the nationality of the Ref who did our game against France? He certainly didn't do us any favours!

    Evening Rocky.

Anybody on here (older Addicks and visitors only perhaps) remember Marty Feldman's comedy sketch of the football commentator at an England vs. Uruguay, refereed by "the burly, genial Herr Grossfarb, from Switzerland"?

    Absolute comedy classic.

    Enjoy!

Gotta say, that was really scary - two of the best goals I've seen in quite a while - for a bloke his size, the footwork for the first was extraordinary.

Rarely seen a Dutch side so devoid of ideas.

Bookmakers should learn to reduce the odds on Gomez as first goalscorer @ 5/1. 2 games on the trot now <cheers>

And after y'days mess, today's double is looking good, as is my 2-0 prediction (I've obviously just jinxed myself, mind)

In which case, if we beat Sweden, we will only need a point to see us through.

I got a nice double on Germany and Portugal tonight. 4/1 on a £50 stake.

Spain to win by three clear goals tomorrow, and a bore-draw for Italy/Croatia.

As stated previously, Ozil will be the main man of the tournament. A joy to watch.
