Well if someone wants Kasper they will have to pay at least 6M. We put a 5M price tag on his head and with his call up to the Euros his price has gone up

Kasper wont leave to sit on anyones bench either. He will be here next season i guarantee that

At 300k he is a steal only 24 and played all last season for Leics scoring a few goals too don,t think that Town will want him as they have a very good right back in Hunt

He was called up because Sorenson got injured, I doubt his price will go up because people now know he's Denmark's 4th choice 'keeper.

Thats the way the transfer market works. We dont need to sell and we are wealthy so he wont be cheap.

Do we really want to see this deal going through or any transfers for that matter before "The takeover", surely all business should be on hold until the new investors come in?

If we sign someone does that mean there's no takeover???

Once you get investment all the price tags will be increased when ever you enter the bidding. The same happened to us.

No I disagree, no club will pay 5m for kasper because he just isn't worth it. I can understand why the price tag has been put on him though as you dont need money and you dont want to sell. We did the same with Snoddy last year by putting an 8m price tag on him, he obviously wasnt worth that much but we didn't want to sell

Putting my positive hat on I think it's telling that the talk is of the transfer going through in a couple of weeks. Why not now if nothing's going on?

Warnock will not need to spend out on the figures Leicester did, I dare say even if the takeover happens and the new owners hand Warnock a large war chest we shall still see the out of contract players join and the ones costing under £500k

Warnock will not spend the money for the sake of it - Look at it another way, if Leeds found themselves in the same financial situation as Leicester don't you think Warnock would chase Liam Rosenior at £750k if he thought he was a better player. Warnock obviously feels Peltier at £300k is a better option.

Leicester had better hope and prey that Leeds and Forest do not receive large financial support from takeovers because with Cardiff already finding themselves rich Leicester will struggle when it comes to attracting players if the others are interested.

Its all well and good having a big war chest, but you have to put in the wages to back it up, you can bid for whoever you like, but if another club bids the same and offers better wages, then he will end up there.

Think this is how we ended up with Danns and Nugent last year, who were both on frees.

Agree to a certain extent but I do feel that a player might accept slightly less if there is a good chance of promotion or they feel they can be part of something special. If Warnock is given a war chest I am sure it will have a wage budget to match, as long as Leeds offer good competitive wages anyone wanting more can screw off for all I care.

Why would we struggle to attract? We're a bigger club then Cardiff. We are getting some descents kids of Man U because Nigel has some good links there so that can continue. As for you and Forest we stand as much chance of attracting as you do
