Medro let me explain. Leeds were not liquidated - the new co took on all of the old co. you are not taking on the old co's past. You can if you want, but the bad will follow you too - ie newco can pay the debts and not be debt free! Leeds newco took on the good and the bad. If you wanna shift the bad, then you lose the good too. You can't pick and chose
