Works for me !! Having a departing managers' fresh , record breaking 7,000,000 player waiting for next manager to walk in the door doesn't seem like a great idea to me . Would prefer the new manager to break the transfer record , seeing he'll be the guy with the new vision ,
Thats more of a kick in the balls than not signing siggy. I million more than we punted for siggy , Rodgers knows our limit !
Might have been easier if Liverpool owners bought SCFC and changed the name to Liverpool FC. The last time we got to the top division we got loads of players from Liverpool, not it seems they need our players and managers. How times change.
maybe it shows that Rodgers doesn't have an eye for a player that he hasn't worked with, Not for a moment saying that Chaulker was coming back to us but potentially a bigger loss
Easier to sign players that you know for sure are good and that you know you can work with. Be interesting to see if he signs anyone completely new though. I suppose he'll have to eventually.
What about czech republics Vaclav Pilar to take siggys place, looks awsome at the Euros! Looks like hes going to vfl wolfsburg http://www.khaleejtimes.com/kt-arti...2/May/sportstalk_May33.xml§ion=sportstalk
you lot should have let him buy your players at least you could have got cash out of liverpool and maybe px players, instead he is nicking your targets
Siggy is last years news along with Buck (Thank you both). They've moved on, time for us to do the same.
Apparently Siggy is waiting to speak to Laundrup before making any decisions. Laundrup is understandably a hero of his and would be ideal for developing his game, but he obviously needs to know where he fits in first. I know this is all hear say, and to be honest I'm not that bothered if he goes to Liverpool or not, but if he's faced with the choice of working under his hero and developing his game, or keeping the bench warm at Liverpool, I know which I'd choose. I know he'd probably earn a lot more at Liverpool, but it's a big gamble to take when it's first team football he wants
