I had to read that twice. At first glance, I thought you were saying that Levy was probably buying his mum this week
I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. UEFA has stood idly by for ages now, and let these parasites rip the arse out of the game. In this country, at least.
I think that Jewish funerals are conducted as quickly as possible, Notso. Normally within 24 hours, if I remember right.
I think you're right. It's the same as the Muslim religion, I think you're supposed to be buried before the sun goes down on the day of death.
£8m is a very high bid! That would nearly cover Vertonghen! Still really, really don't want to lose him though. Maybe at the worst case, a loan to Liverpool for a year, with an option to buy of about £10m? Sounds a bit ridiculous, but plausible with Rodgers there
thats spot on Notso..ideally buried within the same day...obviously in the UK it is influenced on the type of death and where...because if someone dies anywhere but the hospital then they usually require an autopsy.....however at a push this will be done the next day after the death as the families push it through as a matter of urgency..i think its a safe bet that Levy's mother's funeral has already taken place.
£18mill sounds like a bargain if we manage to get rid of Bassong in the deal. Maybe we could offer £20mill if they take Bentley and Jenas too.
seems like they want a lot for someone who scores every 1 in 4 on average. he looks like the lovechild of Jimmy Hill and Brian May.
I'd be very disappointed if we sold him to you. He's made a step up each season he's been loaned out and done very well by all accounts, I'd like to see him either given a chance with us next season or loaned but not sold. I can't see us loaning anyone to you either.
You lot are welcome to discuss Caulker... and Defoe I suppose, here - http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/147997-Summer-Transfers-2012 I think we share several summer targets and are being linked to a lot of similar players. Oh and same, I wouldn't sell to a rival club, but I guess everyone has a price and he would cover your incoming Vertonghen.
I think that's just someone linking anyone that played for Rodgers at Swansea that he can actually sign, to be honest. It appears to have started on CaughtOffside.com, which is bloody awful and you've got loads of centre-halves already. Agger, Carragher, Skrtel, Coates and even the likes of Wilson and Kelly in reserve. Caulker seems to be pretty highly rated at Spurs and the futures of King, Gallas, Nelsen and Bassong at the club are doubtful, at best. I'd be very disappointed if he was sold, especially to another Premier League club that are around our level.
Fair play, I knew it was the case for Muslim, even before the Bin Laden dumped at sea thing, as i worked in the middle east in the past, but had no idea Jewish was the same...not religion of course, before this all goes Pete Tong! Lets hope Levy feels able to return to work soon, if he hasn't already.
Conor Thomas, January 2011 - plus various MTK Hungaria players in the 18 months prior. Clearly all five were on trial, yet were loaned in for the remainder of the season to train with the reserves - which does come across as odd.
