http://local.stv.tv/glasgow/105837-...ow-inevitable-after-cva-bid-rejected-by-hmrc/ "HMRC had agreed to consider a CVA proposal along with all other options in the case of Rangers but having taken into consideration the extent of funds which will be made available to creditors through the CVA option, they have decided that it is not acceptable given The Rangers Football Club plc's level of indebtedness to HMRC. "It has also been made clear to us that other offers tendered for the club, which took the form of a CVA, would have been treated in the same way and that the rejection is not a reflection of the Green consortium bid. HMRC has taken the view that the public interest will be better served with the liquidation of The Rangers Football Club plc as a corporate entity. The club will continue to operate as it has always done but within a new company structure."
It's good for a piss take but I take no pleasure in poor ****s losing their jobs in the currant climate with mortgages or rent to pay.
If it was Celtic that was in that position, I'd be taking the piss too, so fill your boots big man! If we start off in the 3rd division, do you think that Sportscene will still show the highlights of the Rangers games?
Good question. Probably, I would think given their market share of supporters in the country. Could be good exposure for certain clubs

The staff who actually work at Ibrox wouldn't have. I.e receptionists, caterers etc. They're just a less heralded but untimately more affected victim in the whole thing. Can't say I am sorry the CVA was rejected, i it benefits the creditors (besides HMRC and Ticketus there are a lot of small businesses on that list who could do with a better deal than 9p in the £1) but you have to feel for the folk who are now going to be unemployed.
Rangers will be lucky to have a team on the park next year Monaco. Every player is free to walk. Scumbags like King and Whyte will be in to suck the bones of it. Not gonna be pretty?
Thats what I was thinking. Also, does anybody know if we keep our history or do we do a "Fiorentina" or do we just start off as the new kids on the block? Or do we all generally know **** all?
We'll see you in Division 2 in a couple of years buddy. The rivalry will be as strong as ever, just on a much smaller scale.
Could be anything. I'd imagine the end result will be rangers fans will tell you they keep their history and Celtic fans will say you don't!!!
