How wud u feel if we signed him?

When Sol Campbell leaves we will need cover for centre back and people have mentioned we need competition at right back - Nedum Onuoha wud add both of those things!

He is really quick, is really intelligent and wud luv 2 see the mackems faces if we got ther in front of them and snapped him up :)

He dusnt seem 2 hav a future at Man City so think he is very realistic and £4m-£5m I think we cud maybe get him for

    So how about it :)

I'd always feel weird about signing a Sunderland player. Not sure why.

Perhaps I'd feel different, considering he's a loanee.

He isn't a Sunderland player though is he? It seems Man City want him back, but if he became available again I reckon he would choose us over him. It would be the easier option for him, he already lives in our hotels, and once we finish above them he won't want to go back to a relegation threatened team, he wants a team on the up.

    ;)

Ye well Danny Simpson was ther on loan as was a certain Shay Given so its not always a bad thing. Ano wat u mean tho

Just thought, I am sure Onuoha actually turned us down a couple of seasons ago because he dusnt get along with our Joey, if thats the truth then **** him lol

I cant see him bein anywer near Man City's line up. Ther right backs are Richards, Boateng, Zabaleta and hav Toure, Lescott, Kompany, Boyata at centre back so I think it wud be good for him 2 leave. We wud be the perfect club for him imo

Also, he will know Barton - hopefully it wudnt be true about them not getin on 2geva and if we get Ireland permanently I am sure he wil probably have grown up with him so he wud maybe get tempted 2 reject the scum and join the Toon Revelution ;)

The question is, what about Simpson? Onouha won't want to be reserve, and for now I think it will be harsh on Simpson if he was dropped.

Simpson's done nothing to be dropped for. The defence improved dramatically when he came.

Well its competition which is what we need

Simpson wud get games, as wud Onuoha. Maybe play him alongside Coloccini as he is naturally a centre back as well as a natural right back

Wouldn't be bothered, quite like him as a player and lets not forget Shay Given and Danny Simpson both had loan spells at Sunderland.

Samba might be available cheaper though if Blackburn get relegated, wouldn't mind either. Plus Onuoha can cover for Simpson should he get injured.

Ye tht th type of defensive signing we need I think. Sum1 lyk Onuoha

Samba wud be amazin, hopefuly Blackburn wil go down and we do get him. I rememba seein Samba at St James' earlier this season, he had Carroll in his pocket - apart from his goal lol

I'll like him but I'm not sure if this deal will happen. Can play across the whole defence so he'll be a very useful player for us but it'll be harsh on Simpson to be dropped, he's one of the most consistent and underrated players we have at the club. 100% better than Perch, that's for sure. I like Simpson, especially the yellow colored ones.

Frankly, we can't compete with the lure of all that silverware.

    Hang on a minute.....

No no, you were right the first time. The Deportivo Cup(whatever it is called) and the Intertoto are all European trophies, we are a massive success in Europe.

Maybe we can hang on to him if we tell him about all those "League Championships" we won when we were yo-yoing then?
