I think the only thing ive got from the first matches is nobody is head and shoulders standing out to win this tourament with Spain stuttering, still feel they will click though!
Due to the time difference its been hard for me to watch the matches. I watched us play last night (feeling the effects at work after 2 hours sleep) and I have to say that our attackers are dreadful. I like Welbeck, but he has to learn to shoot rather than pass. We seemed reluclant to shoot, unlike France who had a few shots. We need Rooney back. Anyway after catching up on the results, I think there could be a shock. I like the look of Russia, and they are a team that should be taken seriously. I still think Germany will win it, they have the best overal team. They work as a unit. Spain a weak in defence, and without Villa they don't have a goalscorer. Holland again have a week defence, and apart from RVP I can't think of a striker they have. Portugal always get past the group but then fail & Ronaldo never performs in international tournaments. Russia IMO have a solid all round team, and they have good strikers.
