http://www.watts.co.uk/case-studies-search/_/19/4/10/ suggests 19th April 2010? http://www.watts.co.uk/case-study-details/_/41/leeds-united-fc Also says client was GMAC - G M A C Commercial Finance Ltd - Financial Services in Leeds LS1 2ES
Also makes sense that they have used same lawyers that have worked on Leeds previously - who are GMAC - General Motors?
It's the exact same wording that you used though TC. Good digging ristac. The timing of this would have been to do with the development of the East Stand and getting the financing. Not sure if this was successful or failed, but we ended up with a) a £5m "facility", b) sale of 30 shares for £3.2m, and c) selling the season tickets for two years. All of these three suggest the due diligence failed and also suggests why the East Stand development seemed to stall and took a lot longer to complete (ie old arrangements for financing faield and new arrangements had to be put in place quickly at bad terms for the club). So I think you are winding us up TC with this little story of yours. Ta for thinking about us though, we are clearly much more interesting than 'Wawwwwwwwwww.
We should have realised sooner in hindsight it does sound more like a press release and it kind of was. However unless they are using the same firm I have to question how TC knew Watts involvement?
Hey WACCOE, if you're reading this, **** off. Everyone knows we're the top boys of Leeds forumdom these days. 16 guests? Do one, you parasites.
yeah I know, daft post, but was bored with wind ups on takeovers, anyway never made the bookies and its already 2 - 0 on the first game. You should sign the Greek keeper....
