apparently he's been amazing in training, and played really well in the reserves games. I hope we don't lose him for a season at least...

 

Well let's suppose for a moment that things are going on behind the scenes with new richer owners in the offing, could there be a waiting period for players before seeing what is best for them? Could it be that we will not have to keep selling our better players, that a different business model will be brought in? The fact that no new sponsorship deal has been signed could be that a new owner has his own company in mind.

Just a few random thoughts, but it is just a bit of Bordeaux induced variation on the how much will we get theme.

There are rumours that Chris Iwelumo is going to Bournemouth!

 

I'm sure he can afford a better holiday than that.

I guess that as the next game is not until September the pair of them will be on their way back soon.

Depends how much we're paying him really. If money's not an object he's definitely worth another punt next season. But money is an object, so the question is who else we could get for his wages.

 

Maybe he didn't want to go as he heard about a possible loan to some team in Italy?
