Who says that this bit is Bates? If Bates does not own the stadium, but Tanenbaum has already done due diligence on the club, and is now doing due diligence on the stadium because he wants to buy the whole lot and is only interested inthe whole lot, then maybe it won't take too long and is more about him now working out whether the total cost is going to give him returns or not. Or if it is Bates, then we find out all his storied about it costing a packet to rent the place was always complete lies.
