I think people are too harsh on Hall. He put in a brilliant performance against Swansea and people still went "ach, Hall what was he up to?!" By no means a great player but he was no where near as catastrophic as people made him out.
Harsh as may be, and whether I agree with it or not, I do like to read uncompromising copy. When he's on form, Clive gives us that. Good man!

Whenever I see that Clive chap has written something, I find a clear half hour and fillup me coffee mug. As always, well written and entertaining. He hits the nail on the head when he says a defence needs balance and consistency. Leaders and a way of playing every week. A lack of pace, for instance can be solved. A lack of balance and constancy cannot.
Better of just leaving the link though, a lot of work goes into that, and I know he doesn't like it being ripped off.
