I also think that Steve Bruce is bright enough to consult with the current coaching staff and get there thoughts as well as try to bring back Fans favourites. ;)

Getting the likes of Chester - Koren - Evans and Rosenoir onto new deals has also got to be top priority. imo

As ive been saying for long enough, there is much quality to be had for not alot of money but SB has to act quickly and the next 2 weeks should answer many questions. Was one of his calls on friday to SAF by chance ? <whistle>

Very clever, I see what you did there, changing what I said to make it fit your witty reply! Guess that means you have lied about what I actually said...............which makes you a L I A R! Oh, and a hypocrite as well.

Todays header in the HDM is about Bruce being excited with working with our 'hungry kids', I'm sure his remit is to bring the youngsters on rather than spend millions. As for the Heskey signing, am not in favour of this at all, he has been in serious decline the last few years and was never a goalscorer anyway, I honestly think Aaron Mclean would offer more for us and that says it all.

What about Nick Powell on loan?

SAF will want him to gain experience.

Yeah I think a couple of people have put that forward already. I'm sure if he's available he'll be on Brucey's list of possibilities.

    Are United definitely signing him?

He'd be a great signing, bit of a step up from League 2 but I reckon he's a genunie talent and will play for England before long. I don't want to sound like a broken record but I'm gonna say the same thing I always say about Chester: it's not just that he's so good but that his talent is so unique. There are plenty of good young english forwards but they are usually just fast and can sometimes beat a man but Powell has way more than that, he has two good feet and real technical ability, reminds me of Rooney. I'd love it if we got Powell.

I would sell Koren if we could get Powell for the season.

Lovely stuff. If we're going to play two up front he'd be a great signing for us. His goal in the play-off final was probably the best goal I saw last season.

Everything about it is just awesome. There's no danger whatsoever when he recieves the ball and in two touches he does that. Look at the defender trying to mark him, he goes flying when Powell takes his first touch because it surprises him so much, and on top of that the finish is perfect, and on his weaker foot too!

An initial £3m fee, possibly rising to £6m with add-ons.

He certainly looks a talented lad, I imagine there'll be quite a queue for his services if United do plan to loan him straight out(which they probably do).

I reckon he'll go to a lower tier Premier Club like Cleverley did at Wigan.

Maybe he'll go to Everton along with Fabio as part of the Baines deal?
