    Should have Walcott there instead of Milner who offers nothing from right wing. Glad Downing isnt starting.

    That forrmation means we won't get the best out of Gerrard though who is hands down our best player

    This is the team that I expected him to pick...It's no reflection on the manager, but the fact is we are way behind some of the leading contenders in footballing ability...I just hope that this team can pull something out the bag and surprise us all...

    I look at that team and think....is that it.

    The cream of the crop, that the home of football can produce...It's fairly ****e to be honest.

    Another reason why the FA should bring in a rule that every team should field at least 5/6 homegrown players, instead of being flooded by over-sea's mercenaries.

    I think it says a lot that for me a 76 year old Paul Scholes could still walk into that first team :(

    Pretty obvious selection. Milner doubling up on ribery on the right with the Ox our outlet to the left. Young to drop deep and make a 5 as required. Standard stuff and the main thing is going to be tactical discipline. We need to stay compact, frustrate them and then sucker punch.
