QPR announced on the 25th May that they would be holding their own internal investigation into the conduct of Joey Barton and that it would take them two weeks.

Well, the deadline ran out last Friday and we still haven't heard what is going to happen. I think too many dealings with the F.A. have rubbed off on Rangers and they have no idea what a deadline is!

Come on all you ITK's, what is happening and when is the next announcement going to be made?

The obviously didn't take into account the two bank holidays last week.

The Liverpool incident probably demanded another 2 week investigation. Hopefully we'll know by Xmas.

This says to me that they are trying to get rid of him, theyd have surely have announced a fine or something if they were going to keep him.

.... or they are waiting for it all to die down before quietly reintegrating him into their plans.

    Reintegration?

Sounds like you've been reading the prisoner reform handbook.

I agree with Jeff though - they're leaping at another chance to see if he's broken his contract terms.

Personally, I think we've, somewhat naively, tied ourselves into a contract that Gengis Khan couldn't have breached.

People have said "give him one more chance" about a dozen times so far, hes 29 and not some 18yo who might grow up and change his ways.

Barton elbow to throat - red card media go loopy.
Torres elbow to throat - yellow card and barely a passing comment from media.
Frankly I could type a load more but I'm bored of the argument whichever side people sit. Whatever the club decide I support their decision because it will have been considered with full reasoning.
