LLOYDS BANK did play a key role in the sell out of Rangers by David Murray to conman Craig Whyte.

I can now reveal that is the case, despite persistent denials from Lloyds chiefs.

In fact, as recently as earlier this month, Lloyds Banking Group chairman, Sir Winfried Bischoff, a season ticket holder at Parkhead, told Lloyds shareholders at the Annual General meeting in Edinburgh that the bank had no influence whatsoever in the deal.

If facts emerge to the contrary, that statement by Sir Winfried Aiden Bischoff could have extremely serious repercussions for the Lloyds Banking Group chairman.

For it is a criminal offence for a company chairman to mislead shareholders at an Annual General Meeting.

Any part played by Lloyds in the handover of his 85.3per cent shareholding in Rangers by David Murray to conman Craig Whyte for a quid, relates to a type of security held by the bank which is called a Negative Pledge.

There are three documents involved, a Directors’ Guarantee, which is self explanatory and a Fixed and Floating Charge, which relates, in part, to fixed assets such as Ibrox, the Albion car park and the Milngavie training ground.

But it is the third, The Negative Pledge, which is the important one in the case of the sell out of Rangers by David Murray to Craig Whyte and the dodgy deal Whyte set up top get a Â£24M loan from Ticketus by mortgaging season tickets before he owned Rangers.

That was, in fact, the money which funded the Â£18M pay off to Lloyds Bank.

And handing over that Â£18M to Lloyds in a lump sum was a condition of Craig Whyte being allowed to buy Rangers for a quid.

For Craig Whyte could NOT have gone ahead and bought Rangers WITHOUT the say so of Lloyds.

Because of the Negative Pledge, Whyte and David Murray would have had to inform Lloyds Bank of the deal with Ticketus and get their permission for the Whyte-Ticketus deal to go ahead.

And without the Â£24M Ticketus handed Whyte, the trickster would not have been able to hand over Â£18M to Lloyds before the ink was dry on the contract which gave him ownership of Rangers.

Which hardly sits well with what Lloyds Banking Group chairman, the Celtic supporting Sir Winfried Bischoff told the bank’s shareholders at that stormy AGM in Edinburgh when he was under pressure to answer a number of questions about the way the sale of Rangers to Craig Whyte, a man with a dubious past and no visible means of support, was handled by Lloyds.

Now, nearly two weeks after that AGM, Sir Winfried Bischoff has still to honour a pledge he made at the meeting in response to a question about the role the controversial Donald Muir played in the dodgy deal.

Muir, you will recall, was a Rangers director, put there by Lloyds and was the Lloyds man on the Ibrox board.

Yet amazingly, proud Roman Catholic, Sir Winfried Bischoff asked the AGM to believe that he had no idea what – if any, he said – Donald Muir played in the dodgy deal which delivered Rangers to conman Whyte and which led directly to the Ibrox club’s current crisis.

But Sir Winfried Bischoff, whose mother hails from County Cork, did publicly pledge that he would find out and get the answer to the shareholder who quizzed him.

I spoke to that shareholder last night and now, almost a fortnight after Sir Winfried Bischoff made his public promise, no answer has been forthcoming.

Amazingly, despite their controversial and as yet not full explained role in delivering the deal which sent Rangers hurtling into administration, Lloyds remain Rangers bankers.

Perhaps now, a year on from the start of the WHYTE SCANDAL, something which Lloyds sparked and which they remain at the heart of, Lloyds Banking Group – 43per cent owned by the British taxpayer – may be prevailed upon to do some proper due diligence on Charles Green, before Rangers are sold out again.

And not just on Charles Green, but also on the Green Gang and the MEN of MYSTERY who are closing in on winning their sleekit fight to snare Rangers without ever revealing the names of the men with the money and what their visible means of support may be.

But given Sir Winfried Bischoff’s bungling performance at the Lloyds Banking Group’s Annual General Meeting and his lack of knowledge as to what role the Lloyds' man on the Rangers board, Donald Muir, played in the sell out, plus his apparent denial of the Negative Ple-dge Lloyds held over Rangers, which meant the bank had to sanction to Tickets-Whyte Â£24M deal, I am not hopeful.

Lloyds Bank, having got their mitts on the Â£18M, funded entirely by the dodgy deal between conman Whyte and Ticketus, don’t seem to care what happens now.

CELTIC'S DAVID LOW CONFIRMS LINK TO CHARLES GREEN

DAVID LOW has now confirmed my exclusive story that he and Charles Green are in cahoots over raising the cash to buy Rangers.

Self styled “unreconstructed Celtic supporter,” Low has now revealed my story last week was factual, much to the consternation of the many Rangers supporters who claimed my naming Low was merely scaremongering.

That scaremongering tag is the latest in a long line of criticisms, barbs and cheap jibes which have been aimed at me since I first started warning Rangers supporters about the now under investigation Duff and Phelps, plus the various Gangs and Mobs who have tried to snare their club.

It almost seems that Rangers supporters do not want to know the truth, if that truth is unpalatable. Shooting the messenger is the tactic of many.

But I have been proven to have been right all along.

And now, thanks to David Low’s commendable honesty, openness and frankness, I have been proven to be spot on yet again.

According to David Low himself, in a story carried by a number of newspapers today, he has admitted to being put in touch with Charles Green through a City financial advisor they both share.

Low says that introduction led to a hush-hush meeting between Charles Green and David Low, the man who masterminded Fergus McCann’s takeover of Celtic.

Again according to David Low himself, the meeting was set up in conditions of high secrecy so that he could give Green advice on how the land lies in this neck of the woods.

That is something which, according to other information I am in possession of, rings true.

But it is David Low himself who has provided the most fascinating insight into the advice he offered to Charles Green. Advice I now know Green has taken and acted upon

David Low told Charles Green that he should get at least one wealthy Rangers fan to join the Green Gang and chip in some cash.

That, David Low told Charles Green, would sink his critics. David Low then went even further to help the Green Gang snare Rangers and he put Charles Green in touch with someone who he said could facilitate this.

I now believe that someone with a Rangers background has been involved in talks with Charles Green on the say-so of David Low.

However, I do not know if he is aware that he has only been roped in by Charles Green on the advice of self confessed “unreconstructed Celtic supporter,” David Low.

He is window dressing.

If he is not already aware of that, then he is now.

I should also be keen to learn and try to understand just what it is David Low means when he describes himself as an “unreconstructed Celtic fan.”

Is it the same as Alastair Campbell meant when he described Scottish Labour as being full of “unreconstructed ****ers?”

Also, Low seems to believe that anyone commenting on the fact the man who brokered Celtic’s takeover, someone who is a Celtic season ticket holder and a high profile “unreconstructed Celtic supporter, and who is now advising Charles Green on the takeover of Rangers, belongs to what is being described as a special Glasgow dynamic.

What can that mean?

Does it mean that there would be no comment made if an AC Milan season ticket holder and high profile unreconstructed AC fan, was involved in takeover of Inter?

Or does it mean it would pass without notice if a Manchester City season ticket holder and high profile unreconstructed City supporter were to become involved with a group trying to take over Manchester United?

And if any comment were to be made, would that be because of some peculiar Milan and/ or Manchester dynamic?

David Low has a way with words. But he is not getting away with them here.

However, I repeat, thoughtful, intelligent and insightful Rangers supporters should applaud David Low for his honesty, openness, frankness and, indeed, integrity, in admitting that he is one of the men who has been advising Charles Green and the Green Gang in their bid to snare Rangers.

Green appears to be on the very brink of pulling off a major coup which will make him a multi millionaire and place Rangers in danger, for I seriously doubt if Rangers supporters have the will, the organisation or the unity of purpose to do what is needed.

There are now real fears that the just over Â£1M in the creditors’ pot which accompanies the proposals for a CVA will not grow all much bigger in time for those owed large sums, in particular the Revenue , to be able to vote for a CVA.

Talk about a 20p-in-the-pound deal is wildly optimistic and not based on any sort of set of realistic figures. My man on the inside reckons the best Green will be able to offer is a paltry 5p-in-the-pound.

And that’s a pathetically small CVA offer which will be refused.

Sending Rangers spinning into liquidation, but with Charles Green, along under investigation administrators, Duff and Phelps, still calling the shots.

And those shots would be a Newco, with the ownership of Ibrox Stadium, the Albion car park and the Milngavie training complex, switched into the ownership of a plc. Call it what you will, it will mean Green owns these assets.

Rangers Football Club would no longer own the club's Crown Jewels.

And the Green Gang would have pulled it off, all for Â£3M LESS than the Â£8.5M figure Charles Green says will be needed to get Rangers through the next month and pay off the club’s creditors through a CVA.

But that is figure he has little or no chance of raising as his lies about having 20 investors, the lies which spewed from him when under investigation administrators Duff and Phelps produced him from nowhere, are now exposed as having been just that.

Lies!

If Green wishes to call me out then let him produce those 20 investors. At a press conference or in the Court of Session, where they, along with Green, would be questioned

We have already seen that Green is in this for one reason only. To turn a quick profit. To make a fast buck. With no thought of the damage he will do to Rangers in two, five, ten and even twenty years down the line.

That is one of the reasons why Rangers supporters, if they truly value their club and want it to have a future as glorious as its past, have to move now and get legally binding assurances.

The way they can do this is for the Rangers Supporters Association, the Rangers Trust and the Rangers Assembly to get together and demand legally binding assurances from Charles Green that Ibrox Stadium, the Albion car park and the Milngavie training complex, the Crown Jewels, will remain in the ownership of the football club. Of Rangers FC, or any other name which may have to be employed through a Newco.

Of course Charles Green, who has so far shown only understandable disdain for Rangers supporters, given the ease with which he has run rings around them, won’t cave in to mere words.

Those words have to be backed with a threat. More than a threat. An ultimate ultimatum.

And that ultimatum must be about the season tickets.

Charles Green must be given a deadline to produce a legally binding document to be forensically examined by the best legal minds in Scotland. And only when a leading lawyer testifies to its binding legal validity should Rangers supporters buy season tickets.

The Rangers Supporters Association, the Rangers Trust and the Rangers Assembly should tell Green that without that legal say-so, Rangers supporters will not be buying season tickets.

And that would rob Green of Â£15M he has budgeted for etting his hands on. Very soon.

But if Green is willing to take that chance, willing to run the risk of losing Â£15M he badly needs, by refusing to produce such a legally binding document, then everyone will be able to reach the simple conclusion.

That Charles Green plans to sell Ibrox Stadium!

That Charles Green plans to sell the Milngavie training complex.

A year ago Rangers fans bought into all the bullshit being pumped out by Craig Whyte and rushed to renew season tickets handing conman Whyte Â£15M he desperately needed .

Journalists fell for the Whyte baloney too. I know, I was one of them.

But I am not going to be played for a mug for a second time. Do those same Rangers supporters who meekly followed Whyte, now intend to swallow the Green bait, hook, line and sinker?

SFA AND REGAN SHOULD BEWARE CONTEMPT OF COURT CHARGES- Exclusive

THERE are so many of my colleagues who should not be let loose unaccompanied on London’s Oxford Street, for fear of them being fleeced, that their numbers would probably jam the old shopping thoroughfare.

Back in my heyday Oxford Street was the haunt of n’er-do-wells such as three-card-trick hucksters and find-the-lady tricksters.

Some of my the Scottish press pack pals give the impression of being gullible enough to lose their wad to one gang on their way down the street, fill up at an ATM and then lose that wad too, to other shysters on their way back.

How else to explain their headlong rush to believe that a decision taken by the eminent and learned Scottish Judge, Lord Glennie, sitting amidst the Majesty of the Court of Session, with reference to one of the oldest and most sacred legal systems in the world, Scots Law, should have anything to fear from Sep Blatter and his gang at FIFA.

Blatter? Is that us back in Oxford Street surrounded by find-the-lady tricksters and shysters?

I name one notable press pack exception to this headlong rush of ill informed hysteria, Michael Grant in the Herald.

Grant wrote a reasoned and balanced view of what it all meant and also performed admirably, with wisdom and common sense on BBC Radio Scotland yesterday morning.

A wee word of warning to Michael. He should be careful there. Admirable wisdom and common sense, when applied to matters Rangers, do not seem to be welcome on the BBC Scotland airwaves, ruled as they are by a cabal of Rangers hating Celtic supporters.

They know who they are. I know who they are. And soon everyone will know who they are.

For the moment, let us return to the judgment of the eminent and learned Lord Glennie, issued from the Majesty of Edinburgh’s ancient Court of Session.

Lord Glennie said there was no basis in the Scottish Football Association’s Laws for the punishment of a year-long transfer ban to be imposed on Rangers.

As any of his TransAtlantic fellow jurists may say, we hold this truth to be self evident.

Lord Glennie then pronounced that the matter of the sentence – the SENTENCE, mind you – should be referred back to the INDEPENDENT Appeals Tribunal.

Rangers at no time appealed against the VERDICT!

It would appear that there are many in the press pack who have difficulty separating the verdict from the sentence.

There were just as many journalists who either lazily or willfully compared the Rangers case to
the one involving Swiss club Sion. There are no similarities.

Sion were found guilty of illegal methods in the transfer market and banned from signing players. They then ignored the sentence, signed players and played them in a UEFA tournament.

Not a wee bit different. Totally different!

In effect, what we have here is another example of how the Scottish Football Association has fallen into disrepair since Stewart Regan was allowed to highjack it and sneak his best buddy, Celtic chief executive, Peter Lawwell, into the seat alongside him around the boardroom table inside Hampden.

After the late Paul McBride QC successfully challenged a six match ban on Neil Lennon, with threats of court proceedings hanging in the air, Regan promised reform of the Scottish Football Association Articles of Association, Laws, Rules, Procedures, etc. McBride QC went on record as saying he would help.

Stewart Regan went on record too, recalling how the threat of legal action over the Neil Lennon ban had hung in the air and voicing his concern that the Scottish Football Association should never again leave itself open to the possibility of being usurped by the Law of the Land, in, for instance, the Court of Session.

Regan said: "We have discussed the matter with Celtic Football Club and they accept that Neil Lennon was guilty of misconduct.

"However, with regard to the timing of the suspension we must accept that if our rules cannot be enforced in a court of law then they cannot be imposed and it is foolish to waste money defending such a point.

"We acknowledge that our rules do need updating and I have proposed to our board that we commission a complete re write of the disciplinary procedures from a legal perspective to address this whole matter.

"Whilst we have an obligation to ensure that our rules can be legally enforced, nevertheless it is important for the future of Scottish football that we do not allow our disciplinary procedures to be used as a costly legal playground.

"We must ensure we can reach a happy balance where every decision is not subject to an appeal and football can self-govern without constant legal interventions."

All of the above is pretty clear. Regan mentions the past SFA rules could not be defended in a court of law. That it would be foolish to waste money attempting to defend such a point and that a complete re-write of the disciplinary procedures was needed, from a legal perspective.

He added that such a re-write was part of the SFA’s obligation to ensure that its rules could be legally enforced.

But after goodness knows how much money was wasted by the Regan-Lawwell SFA cabal, the Scottish Football Association cannot even abide by its own rules.

The sentence which was handed down to Rangers was one the eminent and learned Lord Glennie, sitting amidst the Majesty of the Court of Session, and drawing on the experience of one of the world’s oldest legal systems, Scots Law, decreed cannot be legally enforced.

Lord Glennie spoke and so the whispering in ears began. So started the spin. The result?

Big bad FIFA will clamp down on the Scottish Football Association and ORDER them to get tough on Rangers. To boot Rangers out of the Scottish Football Association. To bring an end to Rangers. Take that! That’ll teach you to want to abide by the Law of the Land.

We are Stewart Regan and Peter Lawwell’s SFA and we are above such petty restrictions.

We’ve got Sep Blatter on our side. What does he care for Scots Law?

With an added hint here, a wee whisper there, give it a good stir and what do we have?

That it is the Scottish Football Association who will clamp down and hammer Rangers.

In fact the sad Sun, so far behind on this Rangers story that it's been lapped countless times, is still peddling the line that FIFA are breathing down the SFA's neck, putting pressure on Stewart Regan to break Scots Law.

REALLY?

I am sure the eminent and learned Lord Glennie would take more than a passing interest were that to happen.

After all, when he overturned the SENTENCE, he sent the matter back to the Independent Judicial Appeals Tribunal. The definitive word there, being….

INDEPENDENT!

A word Peter Lawwell’s pal, SFA head honcho, Stewart Regan used over and over and over again when the verdict was first delivered by an INDEPENDENT Judicial Panel and then confirmed by an INDEPENDENT Judicial Appeals Tribunal.

Therefore, any hint, any suggestion, any slight suspicion, that what the eminent and learned Lord Glennie ordered, is not INDEPENDENT, and Stewart Regan will find himself hauled in front of the learned Law Lord and asked to explain himself.

Ordered to give Lord Glennie a good reason for his actions not being treated as contempt of court.

It won't be that pillar of honesty and integrity, of all things good and decent, the old FIFA despot, Blatter facing the Majesty of Scots Law. It will be Stewart Regan

It will be Regan who will be ordered to give Lord Glennie a good reason why he should not utter the feared instruction of…

“TAKE HIM DOWN!”

GREEN WANTS RANGERS FANS TO PAY WHYTE'S DEBTS

CHARLES GREEN had admitted he will have borrow from the Â£8.3M which he claims is in the pot to pay off creditors as part of his watered down CVA, just to keep Rangers running.

Rangers will run out of money to pay basic running costs within the next few days.

And Green’s CVA says quite clearly that the only way Green can pay bills and wages – not just those of the players, but all Rangers employees – is by robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Unless, that is, he can sweet talk Rangers supporters into handing over Â£15M of their money to buy season tickets.

And this at a time when the fans don’t know whether or not their club will even be playing football next season

Which makes it even more urgent that Rangers supporters do not stump up their hard earned cash by funding Charles Green’s increasingly dodgy looking deal.

For the chances of Charles Green’s CVA being accepted at a creditors meeting on Wednesday are diminishing by the day, opening the way for Green to make the move to snaffle Ibrox Stadium, snare the Albion car park and get his hands on the Milngavie training complex, which I warned about two days ago.

If he does that and moves their Crown Jewels out of the ownership of Rangers FC and into his Sevco set up, or any other plc, then as a football club, Rangers will become worthless.

Charles Green, though, will make millions.

Making the key to the whole thing, the season ticket money.

I’ve been told that Charles Green fears Rangers supporters withholding the Â£15M he so desperately needs to fund his get rich quick scheme. Without that cash from supporters, Green’s cunning plan will collapse.

To that end, he has been trying to get at least two major newspapers to back him, by going straight to the top and launching a charm offensive on the editors of the Sun and Herald.

I can reveal that Sun editor, Andy Harries, along with his head of sport, Iain King, plus Herald editor Johnny Russell, met Green in his office inside Ibrox on Wednesday.

My belief is that both newspapers could now face the perception they have been badly compromised.

Rangers supporters therefore must be extremely careful in believing what they read, for there will be more spin coming from Green in the next few days, ahead of him making a plea for their Â£15M of season ticket money.

Green ‘s CVA says in 5. 14. 2 that from June 6, the date of the meeting when the creditors vote on a CVA, he expects to pocket season ticket money.

He also admits in 5.15 that if Rangers run out of cash to pay the bills, money will be transferred from the CVA pot of Â£8.3M.

But only if Charles Green is appointed to assist in the day-to-day management of Rangers in order for him manage the ongoing trading costs of Rangers and allow for the smooth transition in ownership.

That is laid out in the CVA in 4.21. Those are the words used.

Green wants to have the power of ownership of Rangers before he pays any money and before he actually does own Rangers.

That is a cute move. It is also a clear and present danger to Rangers.

The bottom line - what it will all cost Rangers if the CVA goes through - is that the repayments at 8per cent interest over the next eight years, means the Â£8.3m in the CVA pot, which is only being loaned, will soar to Â£13.3M worth of repayments to Charles Green.

Plus – and this is the key to the decision the creditors will take on whether or not to accept Green's already watered down looking CVA - cash taken from the CVA pot to keep Rangers running from June 6, will be money which is not available to pay those creditors.

That is, unless Rangers supporters hand over their money to buy season tickets.

Then it is their money – the cash from Rangers supporters which will go back into the CVA pot – that will pay the debts run up by Craig Whyte.

The bottom line?

Charles Green wants Rangers supporters to pay the debts run up by Craig Whyte.

Just as Craig Whyte wanted the season ticket money from Rangers supporters last season to pay the debts he had run up.

Making Charles Green no more than Craig Whyte, Mark Two.

But if Rangers supporters make it clear they will not buy season tickets, then Green is sunk and Rangers could yet be saved. Ibrox Stadium could yet be saved. The Albion car park could yet be saved. The Milngavie training complex could yet be saved.

The situation for the club’s future well being is now even more grave than it was two days ago when I first warned of the danger of Rangers supporters handing over their Â£15M season ticket money to Charles Green.

For Green has already been caught out in major lies.

Charles Green said he had 20 investors.

Charles Green said he had Â£20M.

He has not got twenty investors.

He has not got Â£20M.

He has got nowhere near 20 investors.

He has got nowhere near Â£20M.

Charles Green has lied to Rangers supporters before.

Big time!

GREEN BAMBOOZLES RANGERS FANS WITH BULLshit

HERE is the gospel according to proven liar Charles Green. Bamboozle them with bullshit! Confuse them with crap!

And fair play to him. Charles Greenâs bullshit has got Rangers supporters well and truly bamboozled. Charles Greenâs crap has got Rangers fans well and truly confused.

Or at least his bullshit and crap has got some Rangers fans â Assembly leader Andy Kerr among them â bamboozled and confused. (Enough with the scatological references already. It's bamboozling me!)

Others, however, are far from bamboozled. They are the ones who are a long way from being confused and who can see just what a snake oil salesman Charles Green really is.

For instance, in the last three days Charles Green has told daily newspaper reporters that if his CVA is successful he will then bring in some big time money men who will invest anything between Â£20m and Â£30M in Rangers.

Before then going on to tell Sunday newspaper reporters that if his CVA is successful he will launch a share issue and ask Rangers supporters to invest Â£30M.

Actually, when it comes to how full he wants his begging bowl filled by Rangers supporters in the next six weeks, the bottom line is close to a staggering Â£50M.

Thatâs right, nearly Â£50M! That is what Charles Green needs from Rangers supporters in the next six weeks to make his get-rich-quick scheme work .

Work it out if you do not believe me. And I know there are more than a few out there who donât.

The season ticket money comes to Â£16M and the deadline for renewal is July 2nd.

Charles Green wants a share issue to be rushed through by the end of July, according to what he has been quoted as saying and that will, he believes, coin in another Â£30M.

That is a total of Â£46M, which isnât a kick in the backside away from the eye watering figure of Â£50m and it is what Charles Green is demanding from Rangers supporters over the next six weeks.

The trouble with Charles Green is that he is a liar. A proven liar.

And the trouble with liars is that they cannot remember the lies they have told. Therefore they often tell subsequent lies which contradict their original lies.

Lies such as the one Charles Green told originally when he said he had 20 investors.

Lies such as the one Charles Green told when he said he had Â£20M available.

Lies such as the one Charles Green told when he said that if Rangers got a CVA they would emerge from administration debt free.

Of course Charles Green is not the only one telling lies in the rush for his dodgy scheme to be bulldozed through. Some Rangers supporters have joined in.

One even went so far as claiming there was no truth in my story that self confessed unreconstructed Celtic supporter, David Low, had been involved with Charles Green.

That lie was peddled in spite of the overwhelming evidence to back my story. Evidence in the shape of David Low admitting that it was correct and that he had acted as a go-between for Charles Green in Greenâs desperate efforts to raise money.

I know what Charles Greenâs motives for lying are. He wants to rip off Rangers and make a fast buck.

But, for the life of me, I cannot imagine what motivation lurks behind the lies being peddled by some Rangers supporters. For I refuse to believe they are working hand in glove with Charles Green on the basis of some sort of reward Green may have promised.

That is too preposterous, too potty, to be believed.

Isnât it?

But let me predict what is going to happen in the next 72 hours as the countdown begins to Thursdayâs meeting when creditors will get the chance to vote on Charles Greenâs CVA proposals.

Charles Green will make even more and more outrageous and contradictory promises. Charles Green will tell bigger and bigger lies.

And some Rangers supporters will continue to be bamboozled by his bullshit and confused by his crap.

Others will not.

IT is too early to tell too much about how the European Championships will pan out.

But one thing is already crystal clear. If you want to beat the Czech Republic, it is best to play a forward against then.

Something, which almost two years on from his infamous and catastrophic 4-6-0 Scotland formation was defeated in Prague, manager, Craig Levein, still refuses to acknowledge.

The latest humbling of Leveinâs side â 5-1 by America â has led to outrage on the Tartan Army message boards.

But here is a wee tip for those angry foot soldiers.

You are wasting your time. The Tartan Army will be ignored.

For as long as Stewart Regan remains as chief executive of the Scottish Football Association and effectively Leveinâs boss, Craig Leveinâs job is safe. No matter how much matters go from bad to worse for the national team. (Just be honest Leggo, this has **** all to do with Scotland and everything to do with you and your fellow huns paranoid delusion that Regan is trying to destroy Rangers)

Which is how 80 per cent of those who voted in a recent poll believe things will go when the qualifying campaign for the 2014 World Cup gets under way in a matter of weeks.

That was the astonishing percentage of those who voted who said that they didnât think Craig Leveinâs Scotland would qualify.

REVENUE COULD HALT GREEN AND SAVE RANGERS

EITHER Charles Green thinks the heads of the top men in the Revenue zip up the back, the same as Andy Kerr’s, or he is going to pull a rabbit bigger than Harvey from the hat when the creditors gather at Ibrox Stadium in 48 hours.

For what Charles Green is asking those who will represent HMRC at Thursday’s meeting to do, is accept is that he has the money to fund his CVA and that the cash is clean money.

Despite the extraordinary lengths Charles Green has gone to, to keep the sources of whatever funding he may have in place top secret.

And to keep the identity of four of his six investors secret.

That is to say, if we discount, the decidedly dodgy Manchester scrap metal man (aye, ye don't want one of them again), Michael McDonald, who said he was in and then changed his mind and said he was out.

But Charles Green has put forward three names ,though one of the men he says is an investor sails under two flags of convenience. Jude Allen is also known as Javed Abdullah.

What is the reason for that? I don’t know about you, but in business, I’m always highly suspicious of a man who has an alias. I suspect the Revenue will be too.

Then there is the other name which Charles Green put in the public domain three weeks ago, someone else, like Jude Allen, aka, Javed Abdullah, who comes from south east Asia, Mazen Houssani.

No doubt HMRC have looked into these two gentleman. Unlike the dilettantes on the Herald Business Desk.

And then there is the convicted money launderer and corrupt Indonesian, Rafat Rizi, who I revealed last week has links to Charles Green. Will he be involved as an investor in Rangers?

There are just some of the questions it is certain the Revenue’s top business investigators will have been asking. Some of the men whose backgrounds HMRC will have been probing as men who are behind Charles Green and who have had business connections with Charles Green.

And all of HMRC’s investigations may have led to their little reported move to have top flight insolvency practitioners BDO on standby to take over from under investigation Duff and Phelps.

The Revenue are well aware of Charles Green’s plans. HMRC know all too well that Charles Green wants to move at breakneck speed to plunge Rangers into Liquidation if the CVA he and Duff and Phelps have stitched up is rejected .

Plunging Rangers into Liquidation would allow Charles Green and his shadowy and shady cohorts to be free to buy around Â£100m of Rangers’ prize assets, including Ibrox Stadium, the Milngavie Training Complex and the Albion car park, for just Â£5.5M

And that would leave all the creditors – including HMRC – with nothing. With not one thin dime.

It would also leave Charles Green with the title deeds of Rangers’ Crown Jewels to do as he wished with. To make as much money for himself as he wanted. Leaving Rangers with nothing.

It is surely inconceivable that HMRC will allow him to pull that stunt. It is hard to imagine the Revenue will allow Charles Green – someone who may even be known to them as a slippery customer – to get away with that.

What is more likely is that HMRC will use their far reaching powers – powers which go beyond anything even the police possess – to step in and stop Charles Green in his tracks.

Using every powerful device at their disposal, HMRC can stop Charles Green plunging Rangers into Liquidation, while at the same time sacking Duff and Phelps and moving in their chosen big hitting insolvency practitioners, BDO, led by the no nonsense, Malcolm Cohen.

That would create an extraordinary upheaval and open a toxic can of worms.

For BDO and Malcolm Cohen would then be able to see just what it is about the offer Charles Green made to Duff and Phelps which made them so keen to give him exclusive bidder status.

BDO would then be able to discover just what links Charles Green has. And to whom.

And they would be able to do so while Rangers remain in administration.

Charles Green may be able to con people such as Rangers Assembly leader Andy Kerr and convince him to jump the dyke. HMRC are a different proposition.

AND.......

DURING one television interview Craig Levein angrily insisted that he would never discuss the batty 4-6-0 formation he used when his Scotland side was beaten in Prague by the Czech Republic.

That was over a year ago.

Yet when Levein popped up on Talksport yesterday, it was to dwell on his idea of playing six midfielders now coming into vogue.

When I saw the fact that Spain started without a recognised striker against Italy in the Euros, I put the kettle on for Leven trying to draw a favourable comparison with what he did when Scotland lost in Prague.

Yesterday it boiled.

There is no comparison. Just look at the sheer class of the players at Spain's disposal. Then look at the ragbag Levein sent out against the Czechs.

Yet it was only when Spain sent on a striker that they started creating chances.

And is Levein seriously trying to con the Tartan Army into believing Spain's formation was similar to his?

If so, the Scotland manager is seriously deluded.

Mine was not the only kettle boiling yesterday. They were producing hot water in every Tartan Army stronghold.

And Craig Levein was in it. Up to his neck.

Shouldn't he continue his rhetorical tactic of repeating "Jacobite Rangers-hating Tartan Army" rather than just "Tartan Army"?
