"As for whoring himself out, it's the
most unprofessional I've seen a player do and the way he went about his trasnfer was stupid, I agree with you there."

Hazzard most definately has a serious case of VD (vanity disease).
Should be interesting to see how he does in the prem next season, he seems fairly strong so may do well.

I thought that myself to be honest but his Belgian team mates including Vermaelen etc and Joe Cole said he was a top bloke!

Luckily he has age on his side to adapt well!

They normally do get it right because if the media were telling lies, you would get players taking the papers to court over them misleading the public over how much they get paid.

He didn't directly say he wanted to leave, he made comments about football not just being about England and Spain, but also talked about waiting for United's response to his agents counter offer for his new contract.

No, he had already stated his agent had a "counter offer" in with United over a new contract which is standard procedure these days, he also said he was happy at United which is why he is negotiating a new contract, the media are just making a story out of nothing as usual.

Hes a whore as he let his pimp (agent) make the choice for him.

Its well known Hazard himself chose United, his agent heard Chelsea would pay him 10s of thousands a week more and also pay the agent £6million to make it happen.

To me thats the very definition of a whore, let someone make decisions about who gets to use you.

This. If they give him the most money and pretty much a guaranteed starting spot, why is he going to go to a club who offers him less with a lower chance of playing? At the end of the day, footballers are just like any other professional employee - higher wages plus a better role will always trump working for a "bigger" club / company.

Tbh I always wonder why people claim footballers are so different from other people and then get so surprised when footballers act in exactly the same way as every other professional employee in the world. The changes in football only mirror the changes in society as a whole. How many people spend their whole career at a single company, never considering an offer from a rival or playing hardball in their contract negotiations? And how many people only apply for a job with one other company when they move employer? Maybe they would have done twenty or thirty years ago, but not any more.

Not really. Mata will probably play in the centre or on the right, and Marin is no competition for Hazard. And if Hazard wants to play in the winger / AM / supporting striker role he'd still much rather be up against Mata and Marin rather than Rooney, Nani, Valencia and Young. Same for City - Silva, Johnson, Aguero and Nasri is much more competition than Chelsea have to offer.

No, those two deadly centre midfielders which is allegedly Hazard's preferred position. We could compare him to Nani/Valencia/Young if you wish who meth also stated would walk into any team in the world so my statement still stands.
