Gonna stick my neck above the parapet here and say that Henderson is a much better player than Barton, not had a great season by any means and doesn't really merit being in the squad though.
Funny thing is he's writing his own biography on Twitter. And alienating every right minded person in the country. On ability he may or not make the squad, matter of opinion. Personally I think we have enough better players than him in his position. but in any event he rules himself out by his actions and attitude. If you can't be sure he'd be avialable or in in jail, but you are sure most of your other players don't like him then he's ruled himself out of even consideration. And, of course, sooner or later someone is going to beat the snot out of him or stub a cigarette out in his eye, and he'd be out injured. So no. I would not even consider him.

Going against the norm, I actually like Joey Barton, his tweets are quite amusing and he takes some good banter especially with the press guys. Not saying he's an angel, but people concentrate on what he does off the pitch rather than look at the fact he's a very good footballer. He's like bullard in a way, he could have made a lot more of his career than he has, especially where England are concerned, but at least Barton fights for his cause unlike bullard.
