    That Croat forward Mandzukic looks pretty decent. According to Wikipedia, he's a free agent after being released by Wolfsburg this Summer.

    I'm a bit sceptical about judging players based on hpw they performed in major tournaments. Just look at Arashavin. You never know Mandzukic may have never scored a goal for Croatia before.

    He cost Wolfsburg 8m Euros two years ago, so he must have some ability. He looked a decent player, but the only reason I posted anything about him was the fact he's free!

    i think we will lose 2-1, but hope we manage to scrap a draw.
    with our injuries, it's not looking good.
    Looking even worse if Downing and Milner start <yikes>!

    I like Milner, but it really doesn't help that he hasn't been playing a lot of regular first team football recently. I don't mean this in a horrible way - I hope someone breaks Downing's leg to ensure he gets nowhere near the ball!
