Kenny, even though he played most games, he had a hip injury that meant he couldnt dive. He lost us double figures in points as he was by far the worst goalie in the league. If we had any of the goalies linked with us now, we wouldnt have even been in a relegation scrap.

I said he was a world class finisher, I cant remember him missing a single chance. He scored everything, 7 goal in 9 games and was sent off in the other 2, both in the 1st half IIRC.

Average that out over a season and its nearly over 30 goals if he doesnt get sent off.

Well, you had Cerny who I remember played against us, so if his injury was bad then you would of played him. And let's not forget had Dyer injured all season too <laugh> but like James Vaughan for us it is impossible to say what he would have achieved otherwise. Anyway, I can't really be assed to argue about who had the worst injury record last season, because at the end of the day we finished higher than you and still have (In my opinion) both a better squad (Younger too <laugh>) and manager than you.

You lost a few players and no one noticed plus the players mentioned are very poor ... Respect for your efforts as a team Anyone can see that we were getting stronger and stronger after a complete implosion as a club
We survived and showed everyone that we can play a bit
There isn't one Norwich player that could get into our team the way we all finished ... Swansea have as they play football as when we sort our house we do . Flair Location Money

Cerny played great for 5 games and I will never know why he didnt play the whole season but just look at the comments on here, virtually everyone is happy to see him leave.

We have the better squad, you have the younger squad and you manager isnt even in the same class as ours, he got both Fulham and Blackburn into europe (as well at Citeh). We can talk when Hughton regularly gets his teams into Europe.

For a large part if this thread I thought I'd accidentally wandered into a school playground.

Quite honestly, who the hells cares which is the bigger club? How do you even define what a big club is when is comes to QPR, Norwich and Swansea? All three have enjoyed past periods of modest success, but nothing in comparison to an Aston Villa or Everton, let alone a Manchester United, Arsenal or Chelsea. Surely, all that matters is who has the better team, and that's nothing more that 'point in time' stuff anyway.

Last season both Norwich and Swansea finished comfortably above the Rs in the league. In a mini-league of the three clubs, Norwich come out on top with a maximum 12 points, the Rs pick up 4 and Swansea just the one.

All-in-all Norwich were unarguably the best team.

All this "we're going to beat you next time around" and "you're definitely going to be relegated" stuff is little more than conjecture.

Totally disagree you have a squad of nobodies and great credit to PL to getting a great effort out of your players.... As individual players you have a very weak squad but on the upside at least you will keep them
As for Holt honestly he is not rated generally and it's funny that he thinks he is if the standard ... He is as much as a joke as DJ Campbell both not good enough in the long run

Was with you right up to this Uber.

Swansea were unarguably the best. Whoever finishes higher in the League is the best team, pure and simple. Same way we were better than Bolton.

Always respected both Norwich and Swansea teams but it's clear that on here Norwich regardless of their success still have chips on their shoulders . Swansea have won hearts by their total football We have shown that when we are on it we can play .
    Norwich ?

You could be right, Swords. But they only finished above Norwich by virtue of a superior goal difference of seven.

Keep the jibes coming. We've heard it all before from Cardiff ****ty and look where they are. This 'bigger club' nonsense makes me laugh. Chelsea you are not, and as others have pointed out you have a smaller following than us, but make of that what you will.

Be surprised if Vorm goes as he seems happy here but you never know. I just wonder why he would. Last season I lost count of the times I heard "two of the three promoted sides are doing well" in the media. Why? Because it was true. You escaped by the skin of your teeth. You know it and Vorm knows it. Your fans were full of it when you came up and you're full of it now.

    Nothing changes.

    **** me, what a thread.

I read the first two pages and got bored, so skipped to the last page. As Uber said, it's like a school play ground.

Who cares who's better than who. At the end of the day, We finished higher, Norwich have the youngest squad, and you have the most money. None of us are a "big" club, and other than the usual top 6, nobody in the Premier league will be until they strart matching the big boys.

The margin from us to Liverpool was 15 points 5 lost games and 2 of them against Norwich ... It's schoolboy rubbish we were in the end a far better team than both of them
It was close enough for any team below to get into trouble
We did but we survived to fight another day and I truly believe that we have a few points to prove now
Write QPR off at your peril
Would you bet that we will go down next year?

You show your ignorance of our season, Knackered. The Swans and Norwich had prudent management that planned and bought well before the start of last season. We had a couple of wide boys trying to turn a buck. By the time we got the worthy owners we have now, we were scrambling for signings and we took in some players we should not have. We were fighting against the tide from the first game. Now we have good owners, a good manager and his team and a state of the art training ground coming. There are no excuses. We should be much more formidable opponents come August, than we were a year ago.

    Kanckered;
I think a club like Everton or Tottenham might put a cheeky bid in for Vorm, he had a fantastic season and duly reaped plaudits for his many outstanding performances.

As for having a smaller following...... as also explained on this board, how do you measure that? Stick with the attendances and I will agree you beat us there, but there is no other way to prove your statement is fact away from that statistic.
I went to many a Swansea game when living in the Uplands including your FA Cup victory over QPR and I also have first hand experience of the FAW Cup final at Ninian Park where I met many of your hooligan element, and yes I know we all have them.

Yes we had a very poor season but when flicking through the 3 promoted teams board everyone said that finishing 17th would be accepted, even I agreed.

You gained your points the pretty way, Norwich ruffled feathers to get theirs and well, most of the time we ground out results bar the LR match against you guys.

Good luck appointing a manager, I look forward to playing you and Norwich a lot more than I did last season.
