I seem to remember the manager of Scunthorpe dropping down a division to manage a club in L1, that club are now in the PL far above scunthorpe just as we will be above you. I bet their fans said it was a backwards move too.

You over achieved last season and youll both struggle this season, we wont.

It's to do with flair location and money
    Last seasons is history
True we under performed but I am very confident that we will be a force next year ... We are getting there and most neutrals know we have what it takes ... Not worried about Norwich or Swansea but I think their fans should be ...it may be tough on you lads next year just a feeling

<laugh> So we've lost our managers so may struggle, fair enough, but equally we still have the same awesome players so shouldn't drop 5 or 6 places... You still have the same ****e players just even older now and the same mediocre manager, so I'd say you wont be shooting up the table yourselves.

Considering our for, for the last 8 matches was better than both Swansea and Norwich, both of you have changed managers. Swansea are weaker with no Siggurdson, youll be weaker with no Holt and we will strengthen a lot. Its not going to be that hard to overtake both of you.

In fact QPR under Hughes match both teams form since he arrived. Thats something considering he only got 1 win in his 1st 9 games.

Sorry, remind me where has Holt has gone too? And in a later post you mention injuries? Well, didn't it occur to you that other teams get injuries too? We lost Marc Tierney, Daniel Ayala, Zak Whitbread etc for large sections of last season.

Our end to the season was superb, and hopefully we can push on from that. I would expect us to stay safe and not get relegated, considering we didn't last season, I don't think that is an unfair expectation at all <ok>

To be honest, I have no idea how Swansea and Norwich will do next season, it is impossible to predict. I don't know if they will be rocked by their managers leaving and do much worse, or the new managers can progress from where they finished. I think the prem is definitely stronger than ever though.

and none of those are your top players. Imagine your season without Holt or Ruddy.

As for where Holt has gone, you were saying exactly the same thing about Lambert, saying Norwich were the bigger club etc.

Norwich have an unproven manager, yeah he took them to the top half but Warnock took us to the top half too, it doesnt mean hes a good PL manager.
Swansea are getting turned down by people so it will be interesting to see who they get, I dont think either will do as well as they did this season.

I think Norwich made the perfect appointment to succeed Lambert. Whilst I don't think they'll reach the same heights as last season, I do think they'll stay up with Hughton in charge.

I expect QPR to push on from where they finished last season and finish somewhere similar to where Norwich finished last Month.

Swansea I fear for. Unless they get in an almost identical type of Manager to Rodgers (Holloway would be a great choice) I can see them having a bad dose of Second Season Syndrome and slipping down one.

But funnily enough, those were our best defenders! <doh> Do you think we'd have played Leon Barnett/Elliott Ward etc if we had the choice. And Holt's situation different from Lambert, because Holt has two years left on his contract, so if he does go, we will get an adequate replacement, hence your argument is invalid.

We finished above them both with ease when we all were promoted. Last season they both finished above us. So what? Next season is all that matters now and we will be far stronger and better prepared than both the two backwater yokels

I'm confident of finishing above both and think oohs if them will collapse spectacularly

Queens Park Rangers are a bigger club than Norwich 'cos the letters in the name would score higher in scrabble!!!

Losing a defender isnt the same as losing you best player who is a midfielder that makes the whole team tick.
You will get a replacement but he wont score 15 goals, hence why you will drop down the table.
Swansea and Norwich are teams that lose their best players. QPR are now no longer like that hence us holding onto Faurlin and getting world class finisher in Cisse.

Look at the odds for relegation.

Norwich are neck and neck with Wigan for the 3rd place while Swansea are close too.

Exactly, Id rather have a championship last season and have them finish above us now.

    Theres only:
    Winners
    CL qual
    EC qual
    everyone else
    Relegation

after the season has finished, once next season starts no one will remember if you finished 8th or 17th.

Your first point is really just a matter of opinion, other than Faurlin I'm not sure you had any other injuries that seriously affected your season, but at one point we only had one fit centre-half. And since when was Cissé world class? He may be a good footballer when he isn't getting sent off, but world class please? Do you even know what the means. And I don't think Holt will leave UNLESS we do get a fifteen goal striker to replace him...

Cisse scored every game he stayed on the pitch against some top sides. If the side is set up to supply him he'll score...
