They've squandered many more chances than your figures let on. We've totally battered teams and come away with nowt, the midfield and defence have been awesome but we've failed to score goals.

You don't need statistics to see that they ain't putting their chances away. They're maybe not as bad as some make out but we all know Shola has one great game in ten and Lover still has pace but he's lost his touch.

No. They do suck that much. A few moments of good play doesn't make up for the overall ****tiness. If they had scored 19 goals between them (along with the assists) then I'd give them credit. However, being exceedingly below average doesn't deserve anything of the sort. It's hardly like we have a **** midfield who can't deliver them decent balls.

Yes. Still need to shift 1 or both if possible. Not getting any younger either. Best, Ranger, NEW ST and NEW ST(who can play on the wing) would be good for next season IMO. If I had to pick out of Lover and Ameobi.. I'll probably pick Ameobi for his age and loyalty, although both aren't top class and I can't see them playing a important part next season if I'm honest. Quality Championship strikers though.

That's not really true, how many of those goals and assists have been one and the same? I know that Lovenkrands got the assist for Ameobi's against Wolves for a start.

They have done a good job though, Best as well. They've all made an important contribution

  5. They're not very good but they've been under pressure with our two Best strikers gone now. Carroll gone, Best injured, Shola and Lover have had a massive weight on their shoulders, and they've done ok.

Tash please stop it! How many threads are you going to make? A thought pops into your head and "oh I must tell everyone what I've just thought."
You actually that happy slapping the keyboard you actually repeated yourself in the same paragraph. And contradicted yourself.

Nice blokes and all but we do need better if the club is going to progress and the fact that we're solely reliant on them at present worries the hell out of me.

    Jelle Vossen anyone...

  13. Yes, i don't like the duo, and as soon as we can get replacements the better, but we have to give them credit where credit is due for there efforts...

    Not really a contradiction.

I think Shola is a bit underrated. He wins a lot in the air and although he gives the ball away a fair bit, he does have two good feet. He is also the best finisher we have at the club in my opinion.

Lovenkrands isn't really underrated, he is so inneffective most of the time he plays.
