Wow, most of you are showing your age !
Must admit, for me, Springsteen at Wembley for energy, Stones at Wembley for the whole show, and Floyd for show and music.Once saw Amy Winehouse at a tiny Jazz club in Leeds just a few months before she made it big who was just incredible - i could almost reach out and touch her the place was so small - but she was just brilliant.
Worst one (strangely as I am a huge Bowie fan) was Bowie at Wembley Arena circa 95? who was crap and didnt do any of his old stuff - with most of the audience walking out half way through.

Was that the Stones at Wembley in the late nineties, Stu? Sheryl Crow was the support act, I remember. That was a great gig. Especially when the mini stage was raised up in the centre circle and they walked over the bridge to it.
Funnily enough, I had spent the day in Hastings and travelled up by train sitting next to the singer from the Pet Shop Boys. When I took my seat in the stadium, I was sat next to the singer from the Pet Shop Boys. Even he had to admit it was a bit of a coincidence.

Still waiting to see Cheryl Crow after all these years, Ponders - the two concerts I booked tickets for were both cancelled.

Right bad news again last week about her health as well.

It was the Voodoo Lounge tour circa 95 - i dont rememeber there being a support, unless of course we missed it. Stones were brilliant (and i wasnt even a big fan) - i went to see them later circa 2004/5 at Twickenham when they might just as well have put the DVD on - they were very poor.

Yep, that was sad to hear, Tewks. She appears to be really upbeat about it, though. I am sure she will be back in Blighty performing before long.

Saw the second half of their set at Glastonbury 2011.

Got there in time for Protect Ya Neck and C.R.E.A.M., plus a tribute to O.D.B. of Shimmy shimmy ya, Brooklyn Zoo and Baby I Got Your Money.

Made a rainy Saturday afternoon a good one, everyone got involved.
