You can’t argue there are a lot of top top professional’s at United, and they deserve a lot of credit along with Sir Alex. It hurts to say but the truth often does. We are on the way back though I feel and am optimistic we can make a good push for top 4 next year
To be fair matth_21, he didn't say you were a WUM, he said he didn't want to see you spamming the board
For me it's Scholes all day long. Proper proffessional, no ego, nice lad - great player. Pity he's 62.
Ji Sung Park... He's there to sell shirts but tries so hard... Now he's leaving this summer for a better shirt seller
My sentiments exactly mate, one of the worst aspects of following football is coming across so many people who just can't appreciate or give credit to other clubs when its due, no wonder its so easy to use supporters against each other for political gain when people can't either praise others or put bias aside to come together when theres an obvious agenda ala the Suarez fiasco.
Changing tack ever so slightly. Fergie, others are saying you have to respect him, because of his record, but if we look at it coldly, is not his record down to personality failings? Surely someone with that driven determination to win at all cost is not a nice person? You must love him, if he is your manager, but the fact that he is powered by bile, and is just obsessed with winning at all costs, should mean more. Tactics like getting the whole team to steamroller the ref into changing his mind. That is no accident, that was drilled into the players, you can hear his accent on the saying "get up in the refs face." Buying a knighthood, getting off motoring offences and dodgy dealings over "Rock of Gibraltar", I'm sorry, but his record does not change the fact that he is a total ****, and totally deserves the 2 steaming turds he gets in the post every week. I would still like to know who sends him the other one... ;-)
The thing is though that whilst I agree that there are many things I don't particularly like or respect about Fergie or Rooney(who I personally mentioned earlier) that for me does not discount either their achievements or certain redeeming aspects. People are made up of many parts and whilst I can't stand Fergie for his hypocrisy or gamesmanship I do respect the longevity and the fight and winning mentality he instills in his players. In a way its like this forum and the members in it, sometimes we all say or behave in stupid ways but then at other times we may get things spot on. If we all gave up on each other for single aspects this forum would be dead on its feet; we all have good and not so good aspects and its just as important to appreciate the good as it is to condemn the bad!
Isnt it funny, but 18 months ago everyone would have said Giggs...lol, but he has lost all respect after sleeping with everyone..... i have respect for scholes, valencia, vidic and Ashley Young....
Roy Keane ... the only Utd. player past , present or future that I respect. A driven ,determined winner.
I'm slightly biased there though, I used drink with his brothers years ago and himself then when he was home by virtue of being with his brothers.
haha you ****s, meths your problem now <whole not606 United board runs screaming, arms waving, down the street>
