I'm pretty sure the first League game I was taken to was QPR v Brentford April 1959. QPR lost 1-0. There were no team influences on me then - Wolves were good - winning in Europe etc. so kids 'down south' grew up liking them. Just like in later years ManU / Liverpool etc were adopted by kids who had never been to a game. I had no allegiances but as I got older I could get a tube to Shepherds Bush or a bus to Griffin Park. It was much later in my teens that I started to be interested in the Gunners. Meeting my late father-in-law at 20 - a fervent Gunner set me on the road to being a more dedicated fan. The rest is history. I really have no idea when or where I would have seen my first game.
Arsenal v Leicester 1984/85 We won 2-0. I used to stand in the Junior Gunners section at the bottom of the West Stand in those days.
Looks like it. I am going to guess that I am the second youngest user on the Not606 Arsenal board at 22 years old. Although, probably one of the oldest on Ja606.
There's ****ing loads younger than you here. You only have to see who wont be posting when the kids go back to school
