Home Bargains selling half litre bottles for £1.50, Ive got an ice cold one on the go as I type, it's pretty swish. And yeah i go in Home Bargains, what of it?
A cheap bargain shop. Pound shop esque, but with actual half decent brands. It's pretty good for food and drink. Theres one down prospect st and one at Northpoint shopping centre.
It's great, I always win the game me and my mates play at dinner, spot the most teenage mums you can see in the time we have for dinner, my record is 36

I had a pint of it in the union watching the Poland Greece game. Nowhere near my favourite Czech lager, let alone favourite lager. It doesn't even sell that hotly in Prague where its brewery is! (actually I could say the same about Budvar and Ceske Budjejovice).
I had a Czech mate once ( no pun intended) and he used to bring back some lovely beers and spirits from Prague, was always telling me it was 20p a pint over there but never got round to going yet
I was going to say you'll be lucky to find them that cheap these days but, having just looked up the latest brochure from the supermarket my in-laws drag me to, you can get 0.5l bottles of Pilsner Urquell for around 57p and the very palatable Kozel for around 22p per 0.5l bottle. At that price they give Party's lidl stubbies a run for their money.
Apologies for the late reply chaps I honestly didn't see the post. There's one on Hessle Road( Home Bargains) in that little shopping centre type thing. I'll pop in on Monday and purchase some of my favourite beer so cheers for the heads up BCC. Just to prove my poshness it'll be en route to my golf lesson when I go in there. I love a cheap shop though, in fact it was in Store 21 (same shopping area) where I got my Dunlop slippers for 8 quid. I've not got them on now though, I can't find them. I have my secondary pair on, some Sainsbury TU ones which if I'm honest are more comfortable than me Dunlops. Doveston you little tinker, I thought we were mates ? In fact I know we are, the very best of pals.
