That's probably a fair analogy, I always remember being in a bar in Beverley and I was amazed to see the locals buying thier own drinks. No one was buying rounds or even offering each other a drink??? Is that not what a pub is for?
You might as well stay at home I suppose. Mind you, they are saving on electric, gas, TV license etc. Shrewd ****ers those Yorkers.
the worst are the frenchies about 9 of um came in our local not so long ago and got a half pint between them .......what the **** like they nursed it sip for sip for about 2 hours and then ****ed off
I've seen Italian soldiers do that, 8 straws and one bottle of beer. They were badly paid to be fair.
There were a couple of Frogs in the main United pub near OT who thought it'd be clever to take the piss out of 2 of the local friendly skinheads. As in, standing behind them while they were on the fruit machines pulling daft faces and whatnot. When they left, they were promptly followed by said hardcases and had the **** beaten out of them. Why the **** would you do that though? In a foreign country, in a not particularly affluent area, winding someone up who is clearly harder than you Not that I'm a big fan of violence, but they were asking for it really. They play by different rules those ****s.
