Grrr. Come back to the PC to find Beau Mistral won at 11/1, how on earth did they let stall 1 go off at that price on the Roodee? So frustrated as I decided not to have a bet today on the selections in the comp.

On the Roodee note, Roodee Queen is a horse to note nto if she gets an easy lead over minimum trip. Not as bad as the form suggest.

Holland will win no bother. By far the better side this will be comfortable Odddy. Not a penny on them either. Had a big single on the Germans though

Went to a kids party from scholl this afternoon and was talking to some of ze Germans. Very confident lot, predicting 3-0 or 3-1 tonight. Gone for 1-0 myself.

Is it me or is there **** all atmosphere at the Holland match?

Well I was wrong again with Holland. Have had an awful day so slightly worried about the Germany bet.

Atmosphere ****E odddy much better in the two games last neet. I imagine the Germany vs Portugal game will have some noise

I've had a punt on ze Germans aswell, Portugal have a good individual in Ronaldo, but the rest look pretty poor.*

Is that the same Postiga who was useless at Spurs about 10 years ago? If he's the best striker they have then there in trouble *

Up and down RV, had a few winners early on, and had Sharapova to win 2-0, but then gave most of it back by lumping on the Dutch. So marginally infront, but were talking peanuts. My day will be decided by the Germany result. Lets hope they win for us *

Ahhh well at least it is a small profit for now fella <ok>. Put my bets on before I went to footy. Come home watch replays NONE winners <laugh>. Had a fair bet on Like Minded. Need Germany to win for a 75p profit on the day <rofl> any other result is a nightmare day.

Unlucky. I never seem to win either when I don't watch the race live. My only worry with the Germans is that Gomez guy upfront, as he seems to choke in the big games. I'd of gone with Klose, as he's a big game player

    BTW !!!

    I went to Blaydon Races
'Twas on the 9th of June
    Eighteen Hundred and Sixty Two
    On a Summer's Afternoon
We took the bus from Balmbras
    And she was heavy laden
Away we went along Collingwood Street
That's on the Road to Blaydon

Oh me lads, you should've seen us gannin'
Passing the folks along the road
    just as they were stannin'
Aal the lads and lasses there
    aal wi' smilin' faces
    Gannin along the Scotswood Road
    To see the Blaydon Races

    We flew past Armstrong's factory
And up by the Robin Adair
    gannin ower the Railway Bridge
The bus wheel flew off there
    The lasses lost their crinolenes
And the veils that hide their faces
I got two black eyes and a broken nose
    gannin t' Blaydon Races

Oh me lads you should've seen us gannin'
Passing the folks along the road
    just as they were stannin'
Aal the lads and lasses there
    aal wi' smilin' faces
    Gannin along the Scotswood Road
    To see the Blaydon Races

Now when we got the wheel back on
    Away we went again
But them that had their noses broke
    They went back ower hyem
    Some went to the dispensary
    And some to Doctor Gibbses
    And some to the infirmary
    To mend their broken ribses

Oh me lads you should've seen us gannin'
Passing the folks along the road
    just as they were stannin'
Aal the lads and lasses there
    aal wi' smilin' faces
    Gannin along the Scotswood Road
    To see the Blaydon Races

Now when we got to Paradise
    There were bonny games begun
There were four and twenty on the bus
And how we danced and sung
They called on me to sing a song
and I sung 'em 'Paddy ***an'
I danced a jig and I swung me twig
The day wi' went to Blaydon

Oh me lads you should've seen us gannin'
Passing the folks along the road
    just as they were stannin'
Aal the lads and lasses there
    aal wi' smilin' faces
    Gannin along the Scotswood Road
    To see the Blaydon Races

We flew across the Chain Bridge
    And into Blaydon Toon
The bellman he was calling then
    They called him Jackie Broon
I saw him talking to some chaps
    And them he was persuadin'
To gan and see Geordie Ridley's show
At the Mechanics' Hall in Blaydon

    Oh me lads...
    you should've seen us gannin'
Passing the folks along the road
    just as they were stannin'
Aal the lads and lasses there
    aal wi' smilin' faces
    Gannin along the Scotswood Road
    To see the Blaydon Races

The rain it poured down all the day
And made the ground quite muddy
Coffee Johnny had a white hat on
    Shouted 'Whi stole the cuddy?'
There were spice stalls and monkey shows
    And owld wives selling ciders
    And a chap on a ha'penny roundaboot
Saying 'noo me lads for riders
