Seeing Sebastian's pole lap again from last year just shows the grip and speed that the cars had at that time. I don't think we'll see a 13.0 today.

Break in the football comes just in time for Q3. And Ricciardo is up to the giddy heights of 4th in his sweepstakes group.

The amount of times Vettel went wide in that lap was unreal. Getting back to RB domination i suppose.

 

Great lap by Vettel. Where did Red Bull get that pace from.

 

Great lap from Seb!! solid laps from Lewis and Fernando, out performing the car as always. Should be a great race

Tactical error from Ferrari though, chequered flag came down just before Alonso crossed the line. Alonso went left on his second lap - he always stays right when he's looking for laptime, and left when he's going to set another lap. His second lap was 0.002 slower than his first, maybe if he'd stayed right (or got a second lap in) he would have beaten Hamilton. Vettel was too good on this occasion.

 

Good lap from Rosberg as well, getting 5th and easily beating Schumacher after missing FP3.

 

Button going for the strategy call then. Disappointing to see neither Sauber in Q3.
Will be an interesting first lap!
