Tewkes the goalkeeper kit's actually purple. I don't know how or why it looks so different on the O/S or the facebook page but I was there in the shop today and it's definitely purple. chill out
Yes, I shouldn't get so hot under the collar... Purple I can live with. Blue I can't. Chilling nicely this evening - Dad and I went to a friend's wedding today which was Disney Themed -just brilliant. The cake just had a top tier for cutting and the other three tiers were a cascade of cupcakes with Mickey Mouse ears on them. Best wedding I've been to in jonks. Dad's a bit whacked (it's the breakdancing, I think) so we're just flaked out in front of the footie. Truly terrible game but Gabre Selassie looks good again.
picked up my red shirt today. actually looks a lot better in person than in the picture. is incredibly light weight too. doesnt feel like the old style football kits. goalkeepers kit is definately purple. and to be honest, i thought it looked better designed than the red. also got a new car, and a snickers bar today. good things do come in threes! lol
I understand (from Twitter) that they had sold most of the shirts on display by mid-day, perhaps they had more outback....I'm going to Makro next Friday so will wait till then when it's a bit quieter! With a bit of luck they may have the black by then?
i went by 3pm and they had loads left. rather worryingly they seem to be selling more of the L's and XL's than M's. lady at the counter said they'd been going quite quickly
I think the new home kit looks appauling, annoyingly I'll probably convince myself to buy it, more because I want the 'League One Champions' bit you can get on the sleeve, more than I want the actual kit. Perhaps I'll just drop lots of hints around Christmas time. Haven't seen the goalkeeper kit in the flesh, so just how purple is it? (anyone considered the possibility that maybe we're having one purple and one blue goalkeeper kit?)
