You did this on purpose to wind Roller up, didn't you? Get rid if possible, but won't be a disaster as a squad player, just expensive.
Can't see where he'll really fit in if we bring in another wingman as has bee mooted. As you say, an expensive squad player and no-one in the PL will take him. If we could flog him to Leicester we might re-coup some of our loss, but are they even that mad?...
Refuse to comment on any same topics regarding SWP, Tarbs, Derry, Hill, Hall, or any other waste of space we have signed ! sorry did i let my opinion slip?....
Iâd say keep, had a disappointing first season but is still a quality PL player reckon if he could get a couple decent games under his belt and a goal or two he might be one of the surprises of the season.
They're doing a stage version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and are a couple of Oompa Loompas short.....
naah, gotta keep the balance between SWP/Barton threads I'm with Norway and BushBaby on this, a good pre season and a confidence building start for the season, and he could be as good as a new signing, if not better...
Did you watch last year? Who was at Highbury- let's be really specific - his specific pass meant a goal to the opposition a few times last year. Sell Sell Sell. What is the percentage or who on here can name players that had a terrible first season with us and then turned it around to be a hero - I mean someone that people actually wanted to sell? I think I am in for a beating here - but Furlong apart who have I forgotten?
This is the relevant question. Can't see anybody else willing to pay 2-3 million for him and then pay his wages. Think we are stuck with him. Very expensive squad player IMO.
he was good defensively in most games, but that doesn't get so much credit for a winger if he's not so good going forward. Still think if he just gets his confidence up, will do good next season
