err, newcastle were expected to struggle and he was 11th when he left. likewise, birmingham were expected to struggle and they finished 4th despite losing their first team and replacing it with freebies. honestly, you haven't a leg to stand on

Now supers you know me well enough to know that I have a certain degree of integrity - the truth is that I never particularly rated Hughton before he was linked with the Norwich job. He is a lovely chap but quite unremarkable. and much of the time almost apologetic. On the day that Martin O'Neill takes the Carrow Road hotseat i will at that point probably carp myself. You want to know a manager I really admire? Brian McDermott.

    <laugh> yeah, about 1 degree!

agree about mcdermott but i fail to see what he has done that is any different to hughton to leave you dizzy over his ability and not hughton? i think you may need to read up about our chris a bit - you lot seem to struggle when it comes to his career. you're reacting to his persona on tv rather than what the people who have worked for him say. you'll be surprised by what you find out...

I heard him say that Norwich fans are thick as **** and all the women are ugly freaks <ok>

He also confirmed that McNally sucked him off to sweeten the deal.

Everythinig above is 100% true, apart from the bits I made up.

Admit it Supers, as soon as grunty boy ****s off to Villa you're boned x

Well then please do tell me.

CV is thus as far as I can see:

Coached at and caretaker managed a raft of Premier League clubs with a pitiful 25% win ratio. Promoted from the Championship a side that had players like Guttierez, Nolan, Carroll, finished fourth and played dreadful football with Brum. Yes their squad was culled but he still had a nucleus of Premier League players. I'm not saying he did a bad job but I don't understand why you're so thrilled.

Utter, utter bollocks Guru. You talk so much ****e its unbelievable. If we Pep G in charge you would find something negative to say, just because its NCFC.

If you did a poll at the end of last season at PR asking who would they rather have as manager out of CH and PJ i would bet my house that the winner would be CH.
You are clutching at so many straws you look like a scarecrow having a ****.

Just admit it,we've got a good manager to replace our last good manager.

The other thing I found perplexing was this:

In the press conference McNally said they wanted their candidate to have experience at the highest level - either in the Premier League or in a big overseas league. Presumably no-one fitted that description. Bizarre thing to say.

Hampy, you do realise that Who-ton had six months in the premier league and during that time he won every manager of the month award and headed a management training session to improve Sir Alex's and carlo ancelotti!

<laugh> more total drivel. what on earth possesses you to do it? he has coached at two clubs - for some reason you seem to think that's a 'raft'. his overall win percentage is 48%, which when you consider he had a poor record as a caretaker on two occasions (hence 25%) is damn good. in fact, he's only ever lost 29 matches as a full time manager in 132 games. poor record would you say??? your idea of dreadful football is what birmingham fans claim to be some of the most exciting they've seen at st andrews in many years. we are thrilled because we all know we are getting a gifted coach who has had nothing but good results in his two spells as a manager. he's also been at two clubs which have been a low ebbs and taken them forwards, quickly and without fuss. frankly, you lot are so bitter and jealous it is hilarious. as crowey points out, had a poll been carried out before he was given our job, hughton would have walked it. our last manager was extremely good - we've replaced him with another good one.

But the fact remains he did this all with the standard core of players that were premiership class and too good for the championship. So to cap this off supers, are you saying that there is no way in hell that Who-ton will fail as norwich manager? because as far as i can see, Ipswich fans are saying that he could do well, but on the other hand he could fail due to his lack of experience.

OK, my bad: the same two clubs but several spells at each.

Of course his win percentage was good at Newcastle in the Championship <doh> ****ing hell talk about a dimwit.

His Premier League record is: W6 D6 L11

Over a season that would amount to just shy of 40 points - but with Newcastle and Spurs' superstars and not your current squad. Either those statistics don't mean anything or he doesnt have any Premier League credentials... which is it?

Why would I admit that? A fluky break with Lambert, but even then there was no integrity in the way he was poached.

Then he has chased away Lambert and Holt <laugh> How is he a good CEO please? This will be a good'un.

no. two spells! he hasn't kept going backwards and forwards between clubs!!! of the 11 defeats, 7 were suffered as a caretaker. in each case he was a caretaker the clubs in question were struggling at the foot of the table.

    got anything else?
