In appointing myself on this thread as some sort of voice of reason, I'd suggest that the reality of the situation is somewhere inbetween people's opinion's of the two - Duffen made mistakes, some big ones, but is not a villain and Adam, while being responsible for some brilliant things, is not the saintly genius he is made out to be. I'll now return to being unreasonable.
Your not talking about the Dele Adebola deal by chance are you ? Now that deal was beyond belief in terms of money. IF Duffen resigned that was just before he would have been sacked anyway. Bartlett should have binned Dufferman long before he did for the reasons known already by many. To compare Dufferman with Adam Pearson is like compering chalk with cheese. Dufferman made more than mistakes. One example is now in the South of France. Duffer lived upto his name and got far more out of Hull City than he deserved. end of.
