This writer has previously claimed Man Utd were certainly signing Benzema and Silva as 'exclusive' reports. 4. No direct quotes. Just a load of figures plucked from thin air. 5. £25m? Why would we accept that when we rejected £40m last year and Modric is no worse now. I don't see how football writers can get away with constantly writing bullsh*t with no evidence whatsoever, time and time again. He's using his position of responsibility as a way of trying to unsettle Modric, and that should be illegal. To be honest, I hope not. From the sounds of the article he'll cost more than we got for Kranjcar and we won't see him in the first team for two or so years. As much as I recognise that we need to keep building for the future, we need to concentrate on getting in some new wingers and strikers as a matter of priority.
Its 95% certain the Modric story is made up tripe by Custis.... who I recall making up similar rubbish last summer about our better players. These second rate journalists shouldnt be allowed to get away with making up nonsense for the fun of it. If by a slim chance it is true and Manure have made this offer, then I hope Levy tells them to go forth and multiply. I would hate to see Bacon Face cherry pick our best players yet again, (unless they pay more than £35m, then I couldnt give a monkeys). Levy cannot sell Modric to a rival (unless its for mega bucks), if he wants to go that badly sell him abroad or let him rot on our bench. I trust Levy to do the right thing for Spurs, and telling Bacon Face to 4uck off would be a bonus.
